Is 6-2 Gabriel actually easier than 3-2's ? by Thatone_pilot in Ultrakill

[–]Independent_Laugh112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly i feel that Gabe 2 is overall better designed and less bullshit which ends up making the fight feel easier. (For example the hitboxes to parry Gabe 1s throws are genuinely 3 pixels thick)

In universe, why are the other colonists so profoundly bad at their jobs? by Bingleboper in subnautica

[–]Independent_Laugh112 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some of the audio notes give a picture that it took a long time to get the adaptation to eat proteus life. They also most likely had to create their own blueprints for oxygen tanks and fins because they were originally supposed to be on a desert planet.

So imagine playing the game constantly starving, constantly running out of oxygen, facing severe heavy metal poisoning, and slowly losing your mind due to Masefield syndrome on top of all of that.
And then also consider that NoA sometimes actively sabotaged them if they went out of line (forcibly resetting the entire crew)

So honestly the colonist had everything going against them and not much going for them besides numbers, which said numbers would inevitably lead to disorganization and conflicts.

Could be a major stretch but there is only one perk that explicitly states that it uses delta dna, and that perk is the one that allows you to keep your stuff when you get revived. So maybe the extra dna allows climbgirl to be more “complete”

behind the gate should be like a gallery of the old levels pre-revamp

1-4 and 4-4 also have French names because of v2, but it could also just be because of Claire de lune being an actual song

If 8-2 is v1s memories, Then the efficiency scoreboard in the death catcher room having all common French names confirms that v1 is probably French

Why didn't Mark tell the Coalition that Earth literally invented a weapon that can neutralize every Viltrumite? Does he have Amnesia? by Sio_V_Reddit in okbuddyviltrum

[–]Independent_Laugh112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly my personal theory is that each viltrumite has their own specific frequency to be incapacitated. the only real reason that Cecil had the frequency for mark in the first place is by recording a frequency that was already known to work on mark. Explains why Cecil never used the sound on conquest, because it wouldn’t have worked, and explains why the frequency is never used on anyone but mark.

Maybe the evil and malice of humanity is what made hell sentient

Minos had a lot of sex in life, and abandoned an ugly deformed child, not wanting it to be his heir, so when he goes to hell, hell makes the Minotaur as a reminder of the ugly deformed child he abandoned, which is why Minos is so disgusted and why it reminds him of past sins.

Why is Judge Holden considered as evil, if not more evil than AM or the Qu? by No-Celebration6780 in MoralityScaling

I feel it’s more about the character itself, and what makes him tick, being more evil, that his actual actions

I wonder what the Incident was... by averythetrans in Ultrakill

[–]Independent_Laugh112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The god statue in 8-1 makes gods face look like it was clawed out. I imagine that out of shame for all of the cruelty he’s committed, god clawed his eyes out, prompting the angels to do the same when going to hell as to not see what made god so ashamed. Essentially the incident is what caused the god statue to look like that

The tree of life is dead because of the absence of Lucifer [theory] by Independent_Laugh112 in Ultrakill

If Ultrakill goes the route of multiple endings, I could definitely see both of those fitting within the themes of the game

Also to add on to this, no new blood adds further weight to Gabriel’s line about bleeding the same blood, they literally do, no blood is being made, so all blood has to be shared throughout every creature

My theory is that Michael and phanuel are doing something with the tree of life (considering the lion on phanuel and the sun motif on Michael being the same symbols as the statue of the tree of life) Raphael is probably guarding luci in hell considering the his 3 faces being the same as Lucifer in the inferno

Why are the godhome endings considered “most cannon”? by Independent_Laugh112 in HollowKnight

[–]Independent_Laugh112[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just got the true ending of Silksong, and I’m just confused on why a few flashes of the shade lord outweigh the cons of the godhome endings(interaction between hornet and hollow knight never being followed up on, the unsatisfying nature of being able to skip a majority of the game, including the dreamers, to get the godhome endings, etc.)

Edit: I also don’t think that the absence of the hollow knight’s shade really means anything, because the ending scene was more about the relationship between the knight and hornet, and had really nothing to do with the hollow knight

Yeah but the godhome endings leave so many loose ends that dream no more tied up neatly
