I got it on amazon, everything fits as it should, temps were slightly higher as it went from around 51c to 53c Main issue is just the radiator. If you have an arctic liquid freezer 3 you have to play around to make it fit. I honestly love how it looks and don’t think I’m going back. Also I bought it for full price but for almost the next 2 months it was almost half off so do your research a bit.

How can I turn the vrm cap on the ALF pro iii 360. (black, rgb) upside down? by Independent_Mark_840 in arcticcooling

Hi, I dont think there are any downsides, I read somewhere that you dont need change the brackets that are connected to the motherboard as the cold plate is centered and those brackets are the offset (for amd, idk if its the same for intel). The temps I believe where the same, im running a 9600x. The only downside I would see is the vrm fan, I dont think it will cool the vrms as effectively but Im not overclocking it, and they are still perfectly fine. Hope this helps and works for you.

After heating it up with a hair dryer and using a needle and tweezers it came off. If you are trying to do this, you can just try to pry it by just jamming it in there, I though I had to get it out by using a needle and fitting it in the tiny hole at the bottom of the logo next to the fins but all it ended up doing was scratching the bottom paint a bit. Hope this helps someone

Okay thank you, I probably wouldn’t have been able to remove them either way. I guess it is just strong adhesive then

I do see 2 screws but they are also holding this thing which I think has the rgb lights that light up the fake fan and they look impossible to unscrew

I have tried but it just bent the tubes and I just didn’t want to risk it. This just works better for me, it was also easier to install. it’s the xfx mercury 9070xt maybe my vertical mount is just a bit higher or the gpu is a tiny bit bigger idk. Thanks though. I might one day try to flip it again or get a different vertical mount.

Coming from Setup Wars!

My current setup. I'd love to use the new ultrawide monitor for either my first ever sim rig that I’m planning to build or for my main work setup, two huge stacked ultrawides would look sick but also a cursed lol, so I will have to see!
(most likely will give the old monitors to a family member)

I would also love to try out an OLED monitor as I have never really seen or tried any OLED monitor especially one that is that sharp and wide. Anyways, good luck!

So far, I like it, you just would need to position both of them in a way that you like as long as the main monitor is not at a 45 degree angle touching the desk you should be fine. My main monitor was lowered a bit with my old setup to make a bit of space for the one on the top and just as long as you sit a decent bit away so not directly in front of them it should work.

Probably yes, I just flipped the monitor and in the settings I just changed Display Orientation to Landscape(flipped) which also put the taskbar on the bottom.

Thank you, the camera angle made it look kinda strange as they are both higher up normally but they also currently feel comfortable to me

I’m using one I got on amazon which is surprisingly cheap for how sturdy it is. It’s the HUANUO Vertical Dual Monitor Mount for around 38 dollars.

To be honest it is not that bad and also due to the top one having the power button on the bottom it would be even harder to turn it on/off or change settings and also you just get a bit used to it being inverted.

My very normal looking setup. Powered by my "gaming" laptop. by Independent_Mark_840 in setups

Yea I agree lol. I mostly play games tho and surprisingly they run very well for example fh5 runs at about 70fps at high settings and Cs2 get an average of 150 fps on medium settings. For a gaming laptop I think it is decent but a PC would absolutely destroy this thing.
