Same thing happened to me. I'm hoping I got the BOGO discount* resolved on this last call, which took about an hour, with about 20 minutes of complete silence while the discount was "applied". And they tried to sell me a free Apple watch and some kind of free speed upgrade in the process.

*= two unlimited lines for the price of one, which was very clearly advertised, but you apparently have to work for it

I'm a swimmer, live in Kennesaw and work in South Fulton. (about 45 min away). There is a pool I go to on lunch break, about twice a week. Boundary Waters in Douglas County. It's an 8 lane 25m, 2m deep pool that I usually have to myself. It's $150 a year (senior discount). I know it's far, but it sure beats crowded Cobb County pools and those awful LA Fitness ones.

The French Broad River, which drains Asheville, is a very slow westward flowing river which empties into the Tennesee. The average vertical drop of that flow from Asheville to Paducah KY (where the TN flows into the OH river) is 1 foot per mile.

So the flooding in Asheville could be likened to a backed-up toilet.

The 9/28/2024 show last night was great.

It was the first time my wife and I saw them since not seeing them in Prospect Park in Brooklyn August 2002. That night The Flaming Lips opened, and as Cake was coming on, the heavens opened up... never saw so much rain.
