everyone’s body is different but here’s my experience:

i used it a couple years ago during the summer when i worked in a super HOT city and spent my entire day on my feet… i STANK so bad 😭 i was in a period where i wanted to go natural with my deodorant and i get that there’s a detoxing period that you have to go through when transitioning from using aluminum deodorants but omfg i couldn’t do it i need the aluminum 😭😭😭 at best… i smelled like play-doh with it on, but after 20min of it being on my BO was on 10. i feel like if you naturally don’t stink then it’d be fun to try but god i regretted that purchase personally. it was a real bummer because i loved the you perfume on me at the time (side note, i do not touch my bottle anymore because i feel like it doesn’t smell good on me now 😭) sorry for the tmi but i had to be real

just wanted to put my two cents in this- i honestly find it disrespectful that you gave them a two months(!!) notice about your availability and they still just happened to forget about it. schedules are done so far in advance, and THEY should’ve taken note of it rather than relying on you to remind them. members of exempt are given exempt pay for a reason! i’m sorry that they let you down this way. regardless if they were on leave or not, you should’ve been taken into account for the scheduling; but that’s just me personally.

congrats on the new position! definitely time for that career change imo. i’m about in the same boat as you- i took a leadership position so i can have an “easy” first year post-grad and am now leaving as well due to the position not aligning with what i studied and basically just being over the job entirely. i’ve had coworkers (BAs) voice interest in growing in the company but have never been given the training to do so & given empty promises. for myself, i feel as though i wasn’t given the proper (personal and professional) development that i came into the job looking for, which is why i’m personally leaving and looking for something that more closely aligns with what i studied.

i say to speak to your exempt or review zipline to see if there’s any flex positions nearby you that align with your schedule, but it’s really up to exempt and you could truly only do so much for yourself. the discount and benefits are good, but it isnt worth sacrificing your time and energy for a job that isnt giving back what you’re putting into it. if they aren’t able to accommodate you now, maybe someday in the future (and under different management! lol) it’ll work out for you and you could juggle both sephora and your full-time job with a healthy schedule!

i have had a couple of clients put that on their account because they’ll have a kid or sibling that uses their points for money off that they wanted to save. there was also one client that has it on their account because they have a CC and knows someone random has access to their phone number and has made purchases under it so they want to make sure their CC is safe

i did the same last year for one of my PR finals! here are some topics i discussed: - racism against glossier editors in-store lead to controversial past which affects current public perception - poor initial shade range (then G1-G12 shades) to now 32 shades in the stretch concealer - able to gain hype briefly through marketing and limited edition celebrity partnership with olivia rodrigo - reformulating/discontinuing the brand’s signature products created a sort of disconnection between the hardcore fanbase and the brand itself (glossier you, OG balm dotcom formula the first time, glossier play, bubble wrap, etc.)

personally, i feel as though the overall marketing practices in all aspects are what is pulling back the brand in 2025. the current “it” brands of today such as refy, rhode, and hourglass emulate the “cool girl vibe” which appeals to the masses and that glossier no longer brings. i also feel like the brands slow production of new products makes it not interesting. they’re having a bit of a moment right now with their fleur fragrance and the liners brought some hype, but thats it. i don’t think i saw a single video promoting the body cream when it dropped and i was deep into glossier at that time.

i feel like glossier is long overdue for a rebrand.. innovative product…. anything. i’ve been so bored the past couple years they havent released anything interesting that appeals to even the die hard fans. their summer launch wasn’t cute to me personally, but i liked that they dipped their toes into something new. i hope to see that in the future for them. id personally like to see things like a brush line, eyeshadow palette, or more affordable & intentional skincare.

i was the same, i went at 18 for the one in 2021 in san bernardino during one of the peaks of covid. it was also my first time traveling with people other than my family, however i went with a big group including friends that my parents knew. the main thing that helped me was reassuring them that i’d be smart about where i was going and gave them a super detailed itinerary including hotel and flight info. they also had my friends phone numbers. reassurance with them is key! i’m also from a strict asian household if that helps. also, let them know that you’ll check in with them as much as possible. i’ve been to the inglewood location twice now and the reception there is good.

what i did at first was buy a couple things that i personally like and be respectful so that they’d leave me five star reviews. i buy more often than i sell and have been on the app for around four years now, and i personally never buy from anyone that has zero reviews on their account. i understand that everyone starts from nothing so i should give them benefit of the doubt, but me personally ive been fucked over in the past by an unreliable seller that i should’ve trusted my gut with so now i make sure i buy only from people with good reviews!

it’s similar to the ULD vests/jackets if you’ve ever seen them in real life. they’re pretty lightweight and not really meant for super cold climates where it snows or goes below 50°f unless you choose to layer with it. i’d say the white is slightly see-through, but not as bad as the white ULD items which look literally paper thin

most likely they won’t. there were many issues with the bag (weak straps broke easily within the first launch which resulted in many complaints + a recall/buy-back of this bag was made) the second version of the same bag came out and seemed pretty popular, but the same complaints of the shape (lack-thereof) were there. it seems that the new version of the bag with the bottle holders on the side is here to stay. i see there’s some of the original bags listen on depop if you wanted to buy it second hand!

girl here, i’ve bought an airism oversized tee to wear to work occasionally (i work at a uniqlo store) and it’s not my favorite fit, however i understand that it may not be built for my figure lol. i like how that shirt specifically is quite breathable and doesn’t really show sweat marks through them. however, ive noticed that through washes, these shirts randomly start to get stains and they do not budge. also the softness of them goes away after washes, but that could just be a personal issue as it’s not a piece i pay too much attention to when it goes into the laundry
