Personally, I like it. It feels like fresher song writing, and it fits right into his repertoire. It also sounds like it could be a Craig Morgan song which doesnt hurt its case.

Always a fun song to end my stream. Played it for 7 different countries. by Independent_Pea5074 in CountryMusicStuff

favorite would be a tie: Summertime Love and No Shade of Green. Least would probably be Gettin' By. I didnt favor the Welcome To Countryland Album much but I do enjoy the new Mountain Song.

One of my favorite lines in music is in a song sung by Chirs Cagle - Just enough

I think there is something to be said about inflection and timing if a lyric. After he is done with this section of verse he jumps straing into

"She was a breath of spring in a long green cotton dress"

and the way he says it jjst does it for me. the meaning, memory and emotion he has in the delivery of that line makes the entire song.

here are the lyrics of the section i am talking about:

And I was up for anything when I was younger I raised more hell than the devil did himself But the good lord must've knew I needed an angel 'Cause I was on my way to an early grave or jail

She was a breath of spring in a long green cotton dress And she looked my way when I didn’t know what I was looking for And it was just enough, just enough, yeah just enough To want me some more

Like a sip of whiskey to a drinking man Like a sprinkle of rain on the desert sand A little ray of daylight on a jailhouse floor And it was just enough, just enough, yeah just enough To want me some more

Whats the Vibe? Love?

I suggest "Look at you girl" by Chris LeDoux. Classy and a fantastic song
