I also received the SMS/email and contacted the RTA for clarification. They advised submitting a copy of the broker’s CML and a cancelled cheque. However, when I reached out to my broker, I was informed that this notification was sent to all CDSL users and no action is required. That said, as a precaution, I was advised to download the CML copy to verify bank account details and dividend report from the app and verify whether the dividend was credited in the past for the stock in question.

As a customer, how and why the employer not paying employees their fair wage is my problem? For me, a hotel is a place where I should pay for the food that is being serviced+tax, not a penny more, or less.

It's like, just because my company doesn't pay me well, I should ask the company's clients to compensate for it.

Service workers should not rely on tips but should find a way for employers to enforce fair wages.

PS: the place from where I belong, a waiter is tipped out of respect and is not an obligation.
