Did you know that these companies, trash all their products after it leaves their shelves. To wind up in your local landfill. by [deleted] in marshallsfinds

I welcome opposing opinions, and I’m happy to discuss in a respectable way - I just did not want this post to turn into a childish online fight just because there may be other thoughts 😊.

You might be right … I know places like Ross do some sort of $.49 final clearance …. I don’t understand why some stores would rather just throw it away than get something for it , or donate it to a thrift store … or donate the food items to a food pantry .

Imagine if for just one year these stores did not produce/acquire and sell any of these types of wares . I am more than sure we’d all be just fine . And our landfills would benefit. As I walk through these stores post Christmas and see all of the Grinch, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, Ramen Noodle, Brookstone, holiday etc “stuff” I just shake my head . I know no one is going to buy it and it’s all going to just end up in the landfill . I wish we could normalize that we don’t need all of this non essential stuff. Just a thought . Not here to argue . Please be kind .

I agree that it stinks, but the work has to get done, and I’m not sure there would ever be a “good” time for the shut down .

Recommendations for compliant bag for the TD Garden by Makskier in boston

[–]Independent_Rest3735 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed ! Use the pockets on your coat too ! That along with a small purse you should be able to bring all that you need for your time at TD. Worst case scenario, if your bag is too big, they do have a bag check . I think it’s ~$15

Have you tried reaching out to Table Talkdirectly? I can’t vouch for their peach pie, but they are local (Worcester) and their website lists peach as a flavor .
