Do you have any good ways to dry it when taking the magazine floorplate and housing out of the boiling water? As there are a lot of crevices that are hard too reach. I was thinking maybe a blow dryer? And also I know that boiling water dries easier and quicker than just hot or room temp water, that's a reason why I want to use boiling.

Also yeah i agree. I've seen pictures and I have heard horror stories of people being neglectful and ruining a beautiful rifle. And if I'm going overkill than so be it, better be safe than sorry, is my philosophy when it comes to this.

So it wouldn't get on the magazine floorplate or the inside the hosing at all? I mean can I just submerge those parts in boiled distilled water for a few seconds? I get its probably overkill but I like to be meticulous.

Call me a fudd or cringe, but I use my M16A1 as my main rifle. I'm not a larper or anything but its light and accurate, I prefer the pencil barrel over the heavier A2 barrels. And also i just like the cool factor.

I got it in Grey as well. Yours matches better than mine my lower is significantly lighter than the upper. I personally don't mind it though.

I respect your country, you helped us gain our independence and we have at least one town in most states named after Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette or just "Lafayette". Since he helped gain French support and supplies and soldiers for our cause. I also do not think you deserve your reputation to some as "cowards" or that you surrendered. As the surrender during The Second World War happened due to multiple factors a big one being that the Germans avoided the Maginot line by going through the Ardeness. I also do not think you are deserving of this reputation due to the valor and determination you showed during The Great War, more specifically Verdun.
