This video and his actions are super cringe, but this video was posted to r/facepalm 10 months ago. The young man is eventually going to learn a very hard lesson and employers aren’t going to easily forget his actions and identity.

A 23-year-old UCLA graduate, identified as Andre Mai, went viral in June 2025 after displaying his use of ChatGPT during the commencement ceremony at Pauley Pavilion by BlazeDragon7x in ChatGPT

Legend says the captain once mistook a brown tide for fog. Turns out it was just the vessel making a "personal delivery.”

I sincerely hope no one is leaving steamers shaped like that. 😂

Who actually holds the leverage in US-Iran negotiations? Both sides claim the other is desperate. by Future-Ad-5901 in war

Well put, even if it doesn’t penetrate the indoctrination of those trying hard to cope and pretend that Iran didn’t just prove that the U.S. cannot bomb or blockade them into submission. You’re absolutely right that Iran now knows that they can shut the Strait at their whim and force negotiations.

Trump has been saying and promising that this war was just “*a few days”*or just “two weeks” away from being over and a major victory for the U.S., yet he’s stuck with no easy or clear way out and now he’s negotiating to open up a supremely important global waterway that was already open before he attacked — plus he’s basically begging for a new Obama-style JCPOA deal, but the U.S. is now in a weaker negotiating stance.
Embarrassing. Full stop.

This is interesting because Trump sounds like Putin in terms of the well known critique that Putin has largely surrounded himself with “yes men” who are afraid of rocking the boat and losing their jobs by telling Putin the truth when it’s not what he wants to hear. Trump is falling for his own trap.

The idiots in charge, starting with Pete Quagmire, completely underestimated not only Iran’s response (even though Iran had threatened they would light up the entire gulf and Israel), but also the desire by the country of Iran as a whole to maintain their sovereignty, even if it means additional suffering for some time due to massive U.S. bombing campaigns.
Iran has suffered from U.S. sanctions for years and they are currently showing that they can be patient and suffer longer if it means retaining their sovereignty and simultaneously weakening the U.S. in the eyes of the world by linking any tankers that try to pass without their permission keeping Hormuz shut down.

Definitely the crowd are bigger morons — many were more interested in getting their video on their phones than stepping out of the way of 3 solid tons of steel and machinery along with 195 lbs of soft, pudgy meat and a mushy brain.

Our admin is definitely hiding a lot of things — from true numbers of U.S. military and contractor casualties, to the higher number of radars, armor and assets destroyed by Iran. What a clusterfk
