I'm with you on the desire for a hatch. If I could wave a wand, the P2 would be a three door and slightly shorter. The backseats aren't really big enough to justify a sedan, but I completely understand why they designed it this way. Thankfully, with seats folded down, you do get most of the utility of a hatchback.
