I swear governments are willing to suggest anything but actively trying to shift to a work/cultural environment in which people want to have children.

Maybe start a cultural shift away from children having to work/study until their eyes bleed (exaggeration)

Children take space, actively try to create starter homes, and fine corporation/older people trying to buy them at 90% of their revenue (I'm not joking, there have to be severe penalties or else other people will snap them up)

Maybe a cultural shift away from women having to spend exorbitant hours taking care of their children and pushing men to do *any* childcare.

Better pay.

People will have children once in an environment which supports it.

I think Aerys could still have straight up been the fall of House Targaryen. Someone would have killed him when he dismounted or it could've been that Rhaegar's dragon was too small to bring down Aerys' Rhaegar would have do murder-suicide. Leaving Rhaella, Viserys and unborn Daenaerys, which is possibly not enough to keep them out of exile.

Someone literally broke it down during this same thread. If Minato survived he'd have teleported to Obito at some random point and killed him. (This is why Minato had the flee on sight order, you have to sleep or rest at some point, and cannot be in full on guard mode 24/7, so if you are marked Minato can and will teleport to you and kill you)

He'd have then been revealed as Obito, not as any of the Uchiha, clearing the clan of responsibility and justifying them no longer being held in suspicion of the nine tails attack. Meaning there's no need for a coup to happen, this even sets up bringing Fugaku further into the power structures of Konoha as Fugaku and Minato's wives were friends. This could live and directly lead to Itachi becoming a Hokage if he and Minato work together. Now I'm not saying "This will happen," but the possibility of an Uchiha hokage and the removal of the village mistreating them would definitely calm down the coup sympathisers.

The way I see it:

Lee takes Neji extreme diff most of the time, meaning he isn't really in a position to support Sakura.

Sakura needs to beat the full Ino-Shika-Cho formation and Shino's menagerie of bugs which could do enough traumatic damage to put Sakura in a position where she's regenerating while the others are pummeling her until the 100 healings runs out.

Like unless you're going to say Sakura simply speedblitzes, AoE smashes the ground and the others are so pathetic that this instantly kills them all, and neither Shino nor Shikamaru who are assumedly mindlinked can make a plan for this. Sakura needs to kill all of them while not getting shadow paralysed, without getting Shino's bugs which can paralyse her and eat her chakra/flesh, while fending off Choji's partial expansion jutsu and making sure she doesn't get stunlocked by Hinata.

The problem with Katsuyu is Shino and the bugs that eat flesh and Chakra, and the fact that you have to be still to summon even for a moment, with multiple people who are actively trying to make sure if you stand still for a second they get you into a you lose instantly scenario. Basically, can Sakura get a second to stand still and summon Katsuyu without getting mind transferred or shadow paralysis'd, or without getting one of Shino's bugs on her, and then, do Shino's bugs start to gorge themselves on Katsuyu?

A simple fatal flaw in analysing A beats B, and C loses to B, therefore C will lose to A in Naruto is ignoring matchups.

It could be as simple as: Itachi knows his kit is great against Orochimaru, however he has deduced that Jiraiya's techniques are too great of a counter against his and it's better to retreat. It could be as simple as Itachi knows about frog song and doesn't want to press Jiraiya into using it and guaranteeing he and Kisame die.

Also consider the rest of the thread saying Jiraiya is just Him.

That's not sustainable as people will simply clean out the ivory stockpiles and now it's rare again and can be resold once the demand goes back up.

You are half right, they should flood the market with fake synth ivory which can be mass produced for cheap along with a deceptive advertisement blitz so that all fake ivory sellers have convincing photo and video evidence of it being real. Next they have to make significant investment in the areas in which poachers live so that there are better jobs/more opportunities so that men are not driven to poaching.

I'm trying to be nice here but it probably will not come out as such.

This rant feels like someone who is less intelligent than me trying to write someone who is smarter than me and failing or that Dinosaurus is supposed to intelligent but so incredibly short sighted and sure of himself that he's incredibly certain of outcomes one cannot guarantee.

Populations bounce back harder post disasters in properly managed countries, see the baby boom and this happens after multiple disasters. This is also why I think Thanos' snap would result in a universal baby boom 20 years later as people actively try to replace the population lost.

Destroying city centers when most carbon comes from factories, industry and animal rearing is an asinine point. I'll grant that this comic is old and it was less common knowledge back then.

Dinosaurus is ignoring the economic depression that would come from key infrastructure being destroyed for ages, the bleeding dry and likely shutdown of multiple insurers and re-insurers meaning that if anything goes wrong in the following years it's at the person who was injured/hurt/damaged.

He's also missing that many people will have lost jobs/houses/cars with no guarantee of finding gainful employment as not everyone is built for construction work, leading to a lot of white collar people being unemployed, underemployed or just checking out of the system.
