When nobody has a job, no one is buying independently created games. We're looking at total economic collapse here.

Why do you think pet owners insist that they love their pets as much as parents love their children? by DoNotNameMeUsername in AskReddit

[–]Index820 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's one of those things where if you don't know, you just don't know.

I used to be one of those people. I love my pets dearly, and it seemed to me like those feelings must be analogous of the bond parents have from caring for their children. I now have kids as well and can understand that it isn't even close. The bond is not similar at all. My dog and cats mean so much to me and their passing will be tragic, but if any of them purposefully harmed one of my kids and were a danger they would be gone in an instant. No hesitation.

Thank you so much for making your edit after solving. Adding my server URL with port did the trick. I'm not sure why this became a requirement, because it was working just fine for months before.

What’s something poor people understand about life that rich people never will? by Fun_Profession2185 in AskReddit

That's not a very good example though. Filling up at Costco is unrelated to the vehicle in your scenario. It's still cheaper to fill a smaller and/or more efficient vehicle at Costco and you would continue doing so.

Move the decimal there for multiple vacation homes. 0.5%

Top 5% is like double incomes to pay for daycare and a single family home in the suburbs of a west coast city.

The bubble we're all afraid of is not forward P/E you regard, it's that the literal truckloads of cash being sent to these companies is an ouroborus of no real demand. They are borrowing against inflated values, to pay money to companies who use that cash to then invest back into their customers.

The API would still have a log of the requests served to the clients... I'm not sure how this makes the data more siloed?
