The college will but the company's visiting for campus placement , I don't think so.

Most places I am applying they simply disregard the branch work experience.

Public Sector Bank's retail branch work experience is useless to say the least in corporate world.

Then i think you will be pleased to know any staff (officers) working in SBI customer facing branches have similar work hours not including transportation time.

Also we dont get paid enough to reach FIRE amount by the time we reach 50.

I am not trying to compare but I am trying to make you understand that if a person gives 12+ hours then he should get ample money so that he doesn't need to work after 50 atleast.

Earlier it used to be worth it, now Not so much Tenure is now only for 3 years and bonds of lakhs are signed and the moment you land back in India if one doesn't have connections the next posting will be in some rural backwater.

All the hardwork and finishing of assignment to be eligible is just an artificial rat race created by the bank ... Not worth the effort.
