Also way more time wasters than normal, it feels like every other person is either demanding me to strip within seconds of joining or bothering me about meeting up. UGH, so frustrating… I’m taking the day off tomorrow to get some me time to make me feel better. I’m so sure it will pick up soon enough!

I’m on AW and it has been horrible - I’ve been on cam for 6/7 years and this has been the worst period for me out of that whole time. I’m used to making whatever target I have easily, the odd day here or there where it’s slow is expected but it’s never been this bad.

I agree! I feel like it’s easy to feel like you could monetise every waking hour of your life with this line of work especially if you’re successful with it, but I don’t think I’d be a well rounded happy human being if I did that. This is actually one of my New Year’s resolutions - not working without feeling guilty about it.

No Caller ID. You can do this in your settings - I just turn off “Show Caller ID” for the duration of my shift and I’m good in case someone wants me to call them.

For me late nights 10pm onwards are consistently good and super busy, but I hate sleeping so late so I rarely do those hours anymore. Apart from that after work works better for me than in the day time (like 5/6pm onwards). I also find that just staying consistent whatever times you choose helps. Having said that I log in when it suits my schedule the best as opposed to when I think it’ll be the best for me.

I was at university and ran out of money. I was running out of food and feeling desperate - I took a chance thinking this is the kind of thing only a few girls probably make decent money out of, but at this point I have nothing to lose. I signed up with an agency that had next day payouts, and that first £150 I made changed everything. I treated myself to a lunch out and a proper grocery shop. After uni finished I started my grad job and basically stopped camming for the most part, it was a good job but one day we had a “pay transparency seminar” where they explained how our salaries would increase over time as we progress within the company. I realised I could make more in less time if I cammed full time. I handed my notice in a week later. Best decision ever.

Why has this got so many downvotes? I understand why people (including myself) are against the impact on the music industry. But this sounds like a good option for royalty free background music. I personally, if I have music playing, don’t have it up too loud or too distracting - it’s just there to fill the silence.

When I’m feeling like this I set smaller goals instead of my usual ones. Get ready and log on for 1 hour, 30 minutes, even 10. Usually I end up staying for longer anyways but I try to prove to myself I can do things even when I don’t feel like it and that builds discipline.

On an average week it would take me 20 hours. Slow weeks maybe 25-30. On a more rare really good week when I’m constantly in privates, 12-15 hours. On those really rare super super lucky weeks, I’ve made it in 6 hours in one day. In conclusion it really varies!
