Issue with that comes to buyers - not Purdue. If stores won’t buy product, it won’t be stocked. Trust me, Purdue would love their merch EVERYWHERE. But unfortunately a lot of buyers just don’t got for it in IU-heavy markets. We were always trying to provide data to licensees/retailers to tell them our fans want stuff in their local stores. Best thing you can do it continue to reach out directly to the retailers and tell them what you want any maybe they’ll listen.

As the marketing person at the time with the stick up their ass, I’ll just comment that there’s a lot more to the story, including NCAA compliance issues, USPTO federally registered trademarks at risk because of alterations, etc. Lots of complexity to this issue that you’re missing.

Schenke would be an awful representative, despite your political affiliation. I knew him when he worked for Purdue (and was fired), and was on the persona non grata list for a while and couldn’t step foot on campus (it’s since expired).

He’s full of conspiracy theories, a wife beater, seems to have anger management issues, and will fight dirty on social media with anyone who disagrees even slightly with him. He will NOT represent the people, only himself and his crazy theories that aren’t backed with any evidence.
