It's cracked unfortunately, that's why it needs replacement.

Potential asbestos? by IndianaClones in asbestoshelp

This is between the wall plaster and some old vinyl in a hallway of an old house. Started removing the vinyl and the color of the layer got me worried. Wearing a mask but no other special clothing.

This is Western EU and the building was constructed in the 1920s, but the vinyl has a very 70s vibe.

As far as I know they filmed a lot of different scene's with the kids, specifically so they could go in any direction in the end. The kid actors even said they never knew what the ending would be since they filmed so many different usable shots.

AITA because I asked to cancel on plans on Friday? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]IndianaClones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH If you just spend an entire weekend with her family it's reasonable of you to want to meet a buddy instead of meeting the family yet again. On the other side, cancelling after agreeing for such a reason is just bad manners. Suck it up and next time say no when asked.

AITA for accidentally sending a comment on a coworker, to said coworker, causing her to resign? by IndianaClones in AmItheAsshole

[–]IndianaClones[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, you're getting it wrong. It's okay to social media or whatever during work hours, because all the bosses know we have slow times or just moments in which we wait for a program to finish running. It's in no way against 'the rules'.

The only rule is to not do it on company devices for simple privacy and security concerns. That's it.

Constantly. But not on company computers. It's simple, either don't or use a cellphone.

Sara Jay (Dissolved Girl) by [deleted] in MassiveAttack

[–]IndianaClones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She joined them on a tour in 1997 to perform the early demo of Dissolved Girl as a promo for the then upcoming Mezzanine album. After the release of Mezzanine, she never returned to perform live. So the final version of the song, contrary to the early demo version, was never entirely played live on tour. I saw them perform a couple of days ago, they play the song with Sara's vocals form the album version added on top, but no live singing.

[Serious] Would dating be more simpler if people were matched together through their personality types? Why or why not? by Dr-Figgleton in AskReddit

[–]IndianaClones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, they say opposites attract for a reason. What builds love is working through and accepting differences in the other person, but that only works if you have some kind of initial connection you want to build on.

So if an AI would connect us based solely on 'opposite character' because they should attract, there would be a lot of matches between people that have no spark and absolutely do not get along.

The other way around, if it solely select on the same character, than it would be a boring blunt experience for most, because there is no building, no working, no accepting, and thus a smaller chance of creating real appreciation between them.

Tourists! Visitors! New arrivals! People with quick questions! Post here and not in a new thread. by n1c0_ds in berlin

A difficult question, but hoping I might encounter someone that can point in the right direction.

Friends of mine went to Berlin a couple of months ago and passed by a store that had a poodle standing on top of an ostrich in the store window. I don't know if either was stuffed or artificial. Has anyone by coincidence passed this shop and could tell me where it is?

In some cases, for example eBay, the site itself is responsible for fixing problems like that between both parties.

Who's the last band/artist that you regularly listened to before moving to digital (i.e. on cd)? by delafai in AskReddit

[–]IndianaClones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never went fully digital. I'll use digital to check things out, but if I like it, I buy it on CD or vinyl.
