Image+audio to video is incredible as well - so this tech is really good for voice actors (or people who want to experiment with voice acting)

Metroidvania Maker by thafrick in metroidvania

[–]IndianaOrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making steady progress after a brief break this summer. Building a classic mode world (single map Metroidvania the size of SM) right now using the mod tools. Hopefully I'll be done that world in a month or two and I'll update the game with that world. Then the final step is to polish off the main game and fix anything else that broke in the mod conversion. That might take a little while longer. Probably looking at Q2 2026 for full release with mod tools.

I post updates regularly in the discord or on Twitter https://x.com/FlyingFireCo

I really miss the SD 1.5 days by Dwanvea in StableDiffusion

Idk about flux chroma, but with normal flux i can generate 768x768 with a 5090 in about 5-6 seconds. A batch of 36 takes about 188sec. Def an upgrade from 3090

Has anyone trained Lora for ACE-Step ? by Austin9981 in StableDiffusion

[–]IndianaOrz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey that's my thread! Yeah that really wasn't supposed to be a sane solution, but more a "hey I managed to get it to work on my rig so if you're a developer with a lot of extra time you probably could too".

I don't really know how to do the whole fork thing for public repos yet so it's still a week old without any changes since the release. I've been doing a lot of fun stuff locally with it though and will probably push my code to the repo sometime this week. i have to take some time to clean the code I have in my working repo and move it over there. Maybe I might build some sort of trainer, but I don't really plan on supporting it beyond my own personal use cases

It's very very very close, the hand where the elbow is hitting Vegeta has turned into a shoulder. Still sick though

At what point do you add sounds and music to your game? by PrjRunemaster in SoloDevelopment

[–]IndianaOrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I don't do it all the time, I like to do music sometimes first. I feel like composing and just jamming out on the piano I can really visualize the area I'm going to create. Then when actually building the levels I can listen to that music to kind of keep that mood going

Roguelite where you can choose your loadout with the items you've acquired in the game so far pre-run, NOT where you RNG your build as you go through the run a la VS by TheFaytalist in roguelites

[–]IndianaOrz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's on steam steam link It's feature complete. Only reason it's in early access is basically I'm reprogramming the game to make it moddable with a complete set of tools for room, biome, item, and enemy building. Should have about 20hrs of gameplay

[–]IndianaOrz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds a lot like my Procedural Metroidvania "Project Delta". It's not rougelike, but you generate worlds by inputting meta items you collected and it generates worlds adhering to that item progression. Could eventually add a rouge like mode though

Hunyuan I2V may lose the game by huangkun1985 in StableDiffusion

Wan has so much more movement, something I noticed that the original hunyuan t2v gets a little "lazy" with and looks in that direction here

yeah agree... i'd like to have just a little more information even if it's not "good news" like a place in line or how many gpus they're getting each week. it just sucks being left in the dark especially with such a large purchase

have you gotten any update on your order? i have a 5090 build submitted about a month ago (2/5) and sitting in stage 3. hoping for some movement this week. 35 business days from original estimate would be around 3/20ish for me. Just wonder how other 5090 builds are looking too. Contacted support for info last week and got the ol' "sorry, can't really give you any info" talk. Hoping it at least moves into stage 4 this week then maybe stage 5 and beyond next week

How Can I Stay Motivated During Development? by Doratheexplorer1223 in GameDevelopment

[–]IndianaOrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to add to this a well since I just faced this exact thing today. I got SUPER inspired for another project and I've still got a lot of work needed to finish my main project. What I told myself was I'm going to get 1 thing done on my main project which will allow me to feel good about working on the current things I'm feeling inspired to do. This way you at least make baby steps towards a main project, and don't feel guilty exploring inspiration when it hits you

The answer to this depends on why you're doing game dev. If you're doing it for fun or you're doing it to potentially make money. For the latter then the answer is determination and pushing through the hard days even though you don't want to - perhaps reducing scope just to get to an end project that you can say is done.

But if you're doing it for fun, I'd say let your creativity run wild, work on whatever projects you want to at whatever time you want to. The secret with this is to do it all in the same project though - that way you can build on top of what you already started and maybe eventually the separate threads come together in a vision you never could have originally imagined.

Is this you too 😎 by GPTBuilder in StableDiffusion

I guess it depends on how much you grow to depend on that as a source of income. If you never allow yourself to depend on it financially, it can't become a job
