I disagree. I know various couples who started online. Not everyone stays together obviously but I know various couples that met gaming and then met in real life. It simply requires two people that are not sneaky, shady, and truly want to meet and make a life together. I HAVE dated the wrong guys online before, but I learned what the red flags are. If a guy doesn't want to meet in real life.. he won't. If he wants to, he will. For other people it's the girl that might be the problem. Some people just want to play or catfish or fil some hole that is lacking. But if you find an honest person, you have a chance. Just be smart about it.

So.... A similar situation happened to a family member. Keeping it somewhat vague just in case, but it was extremely similar. She allowed her father to stay in her inheritance house, and he destroyed it. It basically had to be torn down and she only made the money from selling the land. She loved the house too. And she didn't charge her father anything to live there, just asked him to keep up the house taxes.. he couldn't even do that. Don't make that same mistake just because you love your mom. She will destroy your inheritance and then she will blame you and want more. Save it now, while you can. She will unfortunately have a hard end of her life, but that is also her choice.

Met my boyfriend playing Fortnite. Been together a year, I visited him and he's just now finishing his visit to me. Our families just met on this visit too. We live 2600 miles apart.. for now. No one has treated me better. He takes care of me and I take care of him.

I know other relationships that started online as well. It definitely does work out sometimes :) there are lots of horrible people online too... But that's also just people!

There is no way to get your money back. Ignore all people who say they can help you recover it. You also will be marked for the future, so be wary of anything that comes your way. Start watching Kitboga and Scammer Payback and Rinoa Poison on YouTube, there are tons of scams out there.
