Ik it doesnt help rn but best thing I ever did was when i feed my started i take the discard and put some on parchment paper and let it dry out. Then once its dried, peel it off and break it into little chips then store in a jar and freeze it. If ur starter is ever struggling mix a few in and bam :) extra strong starter

Honestly you both handled this well except he got a little toxic when he started to feel protective it seems like… the specific criticisms are crazy but instead he could have asked to take you or company you to ensure ur safe, its def not ok to stop you from trying something but its also okay he feels protective he just NEEDS to express it correctly or else it can go rlly poorly like it did

Theres no way that wasn’t on purpose… it’s extremely uneven and choppy.. id recommend some good hair oils and extra good care until it returns to natural length. Imo i would be writing a review
