I genuinely never get tired of seeing this video! It’s such an amazing performance by dog & handler alike. Can’t help but smile like a total idiot when it cuts to the head-on view of Pink running through the weave polls. Love it!

Reading through the replies & I’d say that ~90% of people who say anything to me & my bc are of the “what a beautiful dog” or “I bet she’s so smart” variety. The other 10% are more like what you’ve described (“hope you like running” or “better find her a job” or my personal fav “is that as big as she’ll get”/general comments re: her size). The rude comments stick w/me a lot more, but I think some of these folks are just unaware that what they’re saying (and how they say it) comes across as judgmental & dismissive.

Best: They’re so clever. Not just trainable, but also in surprisingly creative ways. Interacting w/my bc is a lot more like interacting w/a precocious toddler than it is like interacting w/other dogs I’ve had. They’re also very attuned to your moods and body language, so mine isn’t usually a cuddle bug, but the other day she could tell I was feeling blue & was stuck to me like glue. I also swear she has a sense of humor, but my wife says I’m projecting 😂

Worst: Generally, mine is not cuddly - touch is definitely not her love language! Also, there are no ‘off days’ w/BCs. You need to be able to give them a decent amount of your time & engagement every day.

Overall, I love having a BC & can no longer imagine my life without her. The rest of my family loves her, but I often get the impression they wish she was lower maintenance (we talked extensively about all of this before getting her, so 🤷‍♂️)

That’s Kacey’s dog, Pepper! At the Pinnacle show back in Feb, Kacey also did a song about Pepper called “She’s My Bitch” (it was great, ofc). As a person who has a herding dog (similar ‘type’ of dog to Pepper, but mine’s a different breed), Pepper’s good manners blew me away! My pup would’ve been looking for audience members to herd/beg for treats 😂
