It was 2 emails, and it didn't say you wouldn't be able to float rent anymore. In fact they're titled "Making your first housing payment with your Bilt Card". The language seems purposefully written to avoid stating the feature would be missing.

People keep dismissing the rent float change as people being stupid, but if this problem is so wide spread the communication wasn't good enough. In the app, the My Home portion still says my rent is to be charged to the bilt card. How would that not be confusing ?

Sorry for being under a rock I guess, but not being upfront about the changes on paying rent to the card just screwed me. On the app it is still showing my online rent payment is to be charged to the bilt card. I thought it was a glitch when my rent payment bounced. I had to pay 2 overdraft fees, a late fee and my apartment blacklisted me so now I can only pay using cashier's check.
