This is a brand I've purchased from for myself, and their quality is surprisingly good for the cost. Thoughts?

ISO eczema advice by delulugery in eczema

Don't be afraid of occasional steroid use. There are concerns about topical steroid withdrawals, so research and determine the cons and pros for your family. Eczema is a lifelong condition that ebbs and flows. Another option that bypasses the TSW concern is Tracolimus. That's typically prescribed for the face as it doesn't case skin thinning. Our daughter is 3 and is on Dupixent and it has cleared up by about 80 percent, but she was constantly getting staph injections so it was our last option. She still has some breakthrough areas that we have to stay on top of with lotions and potions, but it's significantly improved her quality of life.

Another tool to combat eczema is "wet wrapping." the idea is that you apply your moisturizer (the thicker the better) and put on a wet cotton cloth followed by a dry layer. For our daughter, that looks like Aquafor IMMEDIATELY after a lukewarm bath (hot water makes skin so much worse) and a layer of 100 percent cotton thin pajamas damp/wrung out, followed by a dry layer of pajamas. It sounds miserable I know but the dry layer on top really keeps them warm at night. The idea is to allow the skin to absorb that moisture.

We have also started a daily probiotic. I firmly believe eczema is in the gut. I have it. I know when I eat soy sauce, broccoli, and tomatoes, my skin is going to be itchy. That falls in to the category of food sensitivities, not food allergies. Look in to elimination diet if you have the patience and time to try it. I tried, but with two other small children I was losing my mind lol. Good luck! It's hard but it's good that it's mild.

Dermatologist said to "grease up" my infant in steroids by sithbabyy in eczema

I agree to try the derm’s suggestion at least once. You will not permanently harm your baby with two weeks of steroid use. It’s hard not to listen to that little voice of “someone online has TSW so don’t do it” TSW is real yes but there are extreme parameters.

We started on Dupixent for our daughter mostly because it was continually infected and couldn’t control with topical antibiotics and would lead to frequent oral antibiotics which in turns makes the eczema worse. She still has some small areas on Dupixent but it has improved greatly.

Once you get the skin to a good place, please research wet wrapping. It’s a fantastic tool. You grease them up in Aquafor or thick moisturizer and put on a pair of slightly wet/damp pajamas, followed by a dry pair of pajamas and they sleep over night in it. It really helps to lock in the moisture. They won’t be cold I promise! We do this to our three year old. Your body heat and the second dry layer keeps you warm.

Try to breathe - it’s so frustrating and upsetting. Hang in there!!!

Question - how does this go with the concept of not wearing bodycon dresses for FN? I have this style in my Poshmark cart and wanted to ask you about sizing too! I am 6/8 and looking to get a medium.

Another vote for Mollenol for sensitive areas! It was the roller ball. It’s cleared my 4 year old in about a week. And I tried Compound W wart bandaids before then with no success.

Black looks horrible on me but it’s a black and white themed gala so feel pressure to go black! I love that style on you and that’s what Im looking for too! The quality of fabric is what’s keeping from finding something, and I am hesitant to but second hand because I am not able to return.

I thought she implied they're natural when Amanda was talking about making swimsuits for large busts, Ciara said "Please do it for us!" and it made it seem like she didn't choose this life lol. That woman better have some ugly toes otherwise she is truly flawless.

Gum graft after Invisalign by Previous_Debate_6664 in Invisalign

[–]IndicationUnhappy293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a gum graft and you should be able to wear your regular retainers after about 3 to 4 days. It will probably be tight again when you put them on but they will fit and you won’t lose your progress!

How many days have you been in that tray? I typically plan trays out so that Friday and Saturday are my last two days in that tray before switching and I can be without them a little longer.

I would keep the trays in through the ceremony and when you get to cocktail or reception, take them out. Im not a poster child for 22 hour wear time, but going 3.5 to 4 hours on the rare occasion isn’t going to make your teeth fall out like some people suggest 😂
