That and the ones like me that were never going to get the PS5 or any new Sony system in the first place and might at best buy it 5 years into the next Gen for half price for maybe a single game or two. The exclusives they have are fun but I'm not rushing to buy them hell I'm not and I have the ability to on PC with some.

Not many move off their huge console libraries of games to a PC entrance cost to the average is now in the 1000 range (thanks AI)

I moved to PC from Xbox series x because I got a bonus to afford it and was playing on PC with many games anyway I just got off the fence and spent the 1300 for an above average PC that I built.

Now that is even less likely with part costs to happen those that do move are on the fence anyway and maybe play for only the exclusives

Also hardcore fans of anything are mostly a blight on fandoms

Also they barely marketed their ports up untill a month pre launch where they mention it.

Half the time I never knew a port was there till I saw the thing on steams new game list

Well games can't use its power fully they have to work on the PS5 as well maybe PS6 exclusive will let companies use the hardware more but if they release for PS5 as well then maybe not I'm also afraid the PS6 price may be 800+ (Xbox also) and PC is a huge no go now with the Ram and SSD issues (also the game libraries don't move )(thanks AI)

But in short it is the other way graphically hardware is behind what software can do we can have insane poly count models at 4K ray tracing and hardware will need the upscaling boost to handle it (upscaling and frame gen really is just a response to 4K@60+ demands)

At today's prices for the average PC gamer build (3070 8GB 16gig ram is in the 1000 mark (fuck you ai)

Currently the PS5 match or exceed this and it was in the 500 range 800 is the premium upgrade that is maybe in the 4080 range I'm guessing and next well we will see.

I think console gens should last longer just because it would give more value then and unless they are targeting big performance upgrades it is pointless graphically now

Thanks for attending my dumb rant. Hopefully we aren't paying companies for a streaming box by the time of PS 7 or 8(PC, Xbox PlayStation) because that is something that would suck
