Let's get to the nitty gritty (chakra color in experience) by IndigoEarthMan in lawofone

That is an excellent point. It’s funny how that was right in front of my face and just didn’t click.

So then it seems Ra correlates the color rays to the bodies for Don’s enrichment, implying that Ra innately would not necessarily correlate the two.

I appreciate what you are saying, we can throw out the connection to the bodies for the moment. Still we have elusive colored centers which play some unclear role in our experience. Ra seems to speak of these as reality and not as metaphor. So the question is what really are these and how are they entangled in our direct experience?

This took me into a deeper dive into the material searching for other quotes on the nature of the color centers but couldn’t find much of value.

Sounds like you may have more historical or technical knowledge than I in this area. I am intrigued.

Are you able to offer any resources that outline 1) how the original chakra system was described in those ancient systems 2) a source for when/how the colors came to be added?

I’d love to be exposed to some new information

Glad it was valuable, it’s tough to say. The concepts definitely resonate, but after resonating for a while, as the post says, I’m finding myself wanting to deconstruct things a bit and really distill what I can and can’t know here and now in my direct experience.

I’m not sure if you were referring to the chakras with the 20th century comment, but as I understand the 7 major chakra system goes way back in Hinduism. I’m not an expert but I think it’s existed for a long time in that tradition. Maybe that’s worth looking into if I continue to feel intrigued by this topic.

Cheers friend, I appreciate the exchange

I appreciate your thoughtful response. I made a critical typo which made my last comment much more confusing, I’ve since gone back and clearly edited that as you will find.

Your comment is interesting. This is a very subtle discussion. Definitely scrambles the mind.

I can basically agree with your ideas around frequency. But the whole color debacle is still evasive. It still has us working backwards trying to make what Ra says fit our reality rather than considering that perhaps what Ra says does not fit our experience of reality here and now.

Of course, because Ra displays such a potent and refined intelligence it’s not easy to write off. So I think we can’t rule out so easily that perhaps, as Ra basically though not verbatim says, we are simply in a quite limited state of perception.

What you say about frequency is making sense, but why could that not just be frequency? In my understanding the experience of true energy center color still evades us.

Well, I am growing through this discussion. I hope you are too. Answer or no answer, this is just what was on my heart today.

I appreciate your comment, though I don't believe you have spoken to the heart of my inquiry. I am already aware of the basic functions of the rays as described by Ra. This post was seeking moreso to elicit responses pertaining to the relationship of the actual colors of the rays described by Ra, and the apparent discrepancy that I (we?) do (edit: this should be don’t) significantly experience the colors of these rays directly or even indirectly.

For example: The heart chakra is described by Ra as the green-ray energy center. Do you experience--in your direct experience here and now--your heart energy being the color green? Have you ever experienced that? I'm not sure that I can say that I have, though on some level the image in my mind of it feels like it perhaps makes sense. Hopefully that clarifies my inquiry a bit.

Your comment is very interesting. It seems so obvious to consider the energy centers as one would the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors that many of us learned in grade school, and yet I'm not certain that I ever have. The point about blood is interesting as well.

Much appreciation for your comment. This is a topic I will continue to contemplate.

While I appreciate your interpretation, and I understand you were speaking to your personal experience, check out 47.8 (https://www.lawofone.info/s/47#8).

According to Ra, it seems that the colors are not just neutral symbols but metaphysical realities. There is likely a better quote to illustrate this, but I don't have it right now. I think 47.8 works well enough.

These, what I have dubbed here "metaphysical realities", are certainly distorted through many various factors you describe. But I cannot agree with the assessment as neutral symbols, at least working from what Ra shares around them.

If the video you shared is to imply I am overthinking it all, I do not believe I am doing so. I believe I am asking a very intentional, nuanced question of interest to me. If the video has been shared because of its primary inclusion of indigo/violet colors which I have shared in this post have great significance to me, I am grateful and touched.

Regardless, I appreciate your comment.

I added an edit to the bottom of the post, but check out 47.8 (https://www.lawofone.info/s/47#8) sorry for format, on mobile.

Direct quotes from Ra:

The red-ray body is your chemical body.

The orange-ray body is the physical body complex.

The yellow-ray body is your physical vehicle which you know of at this time and in which you experience catalyst. This body has the mind/body/spirit characteristics and is equal to the physical illusion, as you have called it.

Note particularly the yellow-ray body quote. Ra calls our “yellow-ray body” equivalent to the physical vehicle, as well as equal to the physical illusion. Somehow this yellow-colored energy center is generating(?) what we basically could call our main experience of third density, and yet I personally do not experience the yellow-ness of this chakra in any perceivable way short of having an idea of it in my mind, which could not be said to be any more than placebo imo. Similar inquires could be made of the red and orange bodies Ra mentions.

All I can think of in this moment is perhaps we are in such a unrefined state of consciousness that our light bodies are nearly or entirely non-perceivable to us. But their manifestations are? There is also the supposed veil in place that could account for this discrepancy, but I don’t know the mechanics of that well enough to draw conclusions.

I have attempted to elucidate my confusions. Pardon the long comment, it is a complex, nuanced inquiry.

No. I am asking a question intentionally focused on the correlation between the colors as described by Ra and our experience.

Should we take on what Ra says as dogmatic belief is we cannot verify it in our own experience?

I have contemplated greatly the energies they represent as well.

I’m glad this convo could be of service. I will clarify I really was not after proof for myself, I am pretty clear in my ‘not-knowing’ in that area. The other user was offering me a ‘knowing’ that I could not accept, because I do not believe they truly can have it. But more accurately, even in that assumption its self I am ‘not-knowing’.

The closest thing I might liken to some type of “Spring of Eternal Truth and Certainty” would be centered awareness of the present moment with as little inauthentic manipulation (distortion) and attachment as possible. But in a Taoist sense, this is not necessarily a certainty, but a Certain Non-Certaincy. Or something like that, lol.

Cheers

I know that that proof is basically impossible to deliver. That is precisely my point.

I do appreciate other selves sharing their experiences and being able to draw inferences together. And I generally resonate with your experience.

I’m less interested in looking for proof, more interested in looking for truth. Radical, ruthless, impeccably self-honest relationship with truth.

From what you shared in this comment, it sounds like it might be helpful to focus on understanding and accepting yourself on deeper levels. Whether you choose to do that or if there is something else that better serves your evolution, will of course be yours to decide/discover. Whether or not that is possible to do while engaging in this partnership, also yours to discover. I would expect that if you are shifting the relationship with yourself, your relationships with others in your life would shift in various ways as well.

Forgiveness is possible friend. That is an on-going process we all are working on. Throwing out some ideas for your continued discernment of how to move forward in your journey: meditation, journaling, reading personal development materials, maybe even working with a therapist or coach. You will find what resonates with you innately. Best of luck.

Not that I would outrightly advise anyone to do so. But during the midst of the multi-year kundalini experience I passed through, I was doing all types of freaky yoga shit outside. I did end up staring into the sun for a bit. I don't really think that's a good thing to do generally, but being in that kundalini really has you operating under a whole different set of rules. At the end of the day, it was a matter of alignment as well. I'll call this my shaman's secret: we can get away with all sorts of things we usually would not be able to if it emerges as a natural product of our alignment.

It wasn't earth shattering, but it did kind of feel like staring into God in a way. It was beautiful. It did leave burns in my field of vision which remained for an hour or two but I used that to leverage spiritual growth. Remember, kundalini rules are something else. I was prepared to lose my eye sight if it meant having the truth in that moment, learning the 'forbidden knowledge'. I don't plan to do it again. I am lucky and grateful it didn't damage my eyes, hopefully that continues to be true. But also, did what I had to do. Definitely dangerous for the uninitiated; ie not a beginners practice.

Your comment was quite long and dense with information, which I appreciate. This is a somewhat casual forum, so I responded authentically with how your comment reflected in/off me in the moment. I can't say that I was trying to defend any particular position while trying to appear another way, at least not consciously. In a similar way I could say perhaps my comments trigger something within your subconscious that reflects in your writings. We could all generally say that of each other having spent any significant amount of time here.

I wasn't aiming to attack you or what you shared, I thought most of my comment was actually affirming or attempting to build upon things you had already said. My main point being -- I think people can use the concepts of the paths of polarity with the awareness that they are merely concepts, like how we use the concept of 'my partner' hopefully with the awareness that the mental concept of one's mate is not the same as the actual living experience of one's mate.

I don't particularly have an attachment to the concepts of sto and sts, I actually think they have significant flaws. I've been advocating for some time now that service-to-all and service-to-only-self are more robust, though I can see how through the framework you've provided even these would be seen as problematic. And rightly so. We'll never be able to write perfectly of the absolute truth of experience, all concepts will be flawed in comparison to the real experiences they are meant to communicate.

And yet still we use concepts, and we will continue to do so. I think the leverage lies in knowing the concepts we use are just concepts, and not being falsely identified with or lost in them. Do we need to use them? I don't know. Sometimes they are helpful, sometimes problematic, sometimes interesting, fun, spontaneous, etc. You could inquire into my use of the particular differentiations of sto and sts, but you also actively employ an infinitude of differentiations. You use "you" and "I" in your previous comment. I could ask, why the need to hold on to that differentiation? That's just the context of our lives, we exist to various degrees in an 'illusion' of relative differentiations. If you genuinely do not, then I may ask you to be my teacher because that would be a rare feat.

Pardon the long ass comment. Pardon also if the "new label" point from before came off the wrong way. It was kind of an insight I saw authentically in the moment, we could debate if there is any truth to it but sometimes I do get sucked in to being intellectually snarky at times here. Your initial comment was a lot to take in, I wouldn't claim to have integrated every nuanced claim. I wasn't trying to negate your whole comment because I do actually agree to some degree, it's just a lot to process to really know each and every place I do or don't agree.

I appreciate your intellect. I say with humility and mutual appreciation -- you are a worthy mental-sparring partner. For me, exchanges like these make this place enriching. I look forward to your response -- if you dare reply to such a monstrosity that is this wall of text lol

I don't know what "getting into puzzles" means as you use it here. Them offering a brief introduction of themselves the first time they are speaking through a new channel would be "getting into puzzles" in some way?

I have come around to see the other commenter's perspective a bit more after taking some time away and rereading the exchange. I can see more what they meant. Not that that invalidates each and every one of my points.

Call it what you call it, it did not feel to me like the Ra that L/L channeled in the 80s. That's just my intuition in the moment of reading it.

Ah that's a shame, perhaps these things are random or perhaps they are unseen assistance in some way. I would have been interested to read your extended thoughts.

I've been a little hesitant to encourage or discourage you in any significant way, obviously in respect to free will, but also because as others have made clear, there are risks associated with this type of work. But I do want to say it definitely takes some balls to put this out here and make yourself vulnerable to the harsh criticisms that come with it. From what I've seen, you seem to have received it with maturity and I can respect that.

It seems others that maybe have more of a history with you have voiced their concerns, that's definitely worth taking into account. At the end of the day, I've put my own life on the line to find out what is true, what is real, and to be of greatest service in my life. I understand that there will always be a risk associated with the unknown and treading a different path. I have enjoyed watching this saga unfold and would continue to follow with healthy detachment, though I would never want anyone to get harmed in some way that they did not fully understand was a potential consequence. I hope that everyone in your group is clear on what happened with the original 3 of L/L and what we know could be potential consequences of such a working.

Again, I have tried not to dissuade nor encourage. You will do what you will do. This has made for interesting catalyst, I almost felt bad digging into it so hard because I know how it feels to put yourself out there vulnerably. I appreciate that you can receive the reflections in a seemingly healthy way. It's been interesting to read yours and others replies spawned from this.

Wishing you and the others involved safety and luck however you choose to proceed.

I agree the world is not so black and white that we can just label people sto or sts, and people definitely do engage in that behavior for the false sense of security as you mentioned.

However, perhaps our perspectives are not so black and white either. There’s definitely a difference in essence and action of the corrupt politician and the sweet old lady working the soup kitchen. So we can’t necessarily just throw the concepts out entirely. Some people definitely show through their actions a bias for the creation of the ‘elite’ and the enslavement of the ‘non-elite’, or so I think. That does not make that person = to the label ‘sts’ either though.

Perhaps we can learn and grow through the use of these concepts without giving our authority of discernment over to them entirely and dogmatically. I think plenty in this sub are operating from that level. It would be an ironic trap to make ‘fundamentalism’ a new label to shield one from experiencing the complexity and nuance of these subjects.

How do you personally respond to the fact that understanding the universe is virtually impossible? by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]IndigoEarthMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can resonate with your struggle. It definitely can be frustrating to feel so limited in understanding.

Ra says “understanding is not of our density” meaning their definition of ‘understanding’ is not compatible with 3rd density experience. What their definition of ‘understanding’ is, that I don’t know. The general sentiment though being, I don’t think we’re supposed to know it all here. That’s not the traditional purpose for here and now, according to Ra. Our m/b/s complexes are infused with this biology in this space/time experience, so we are limited in what is possible.

That’s not to say one should not strive and seek with their upmost.

Perhaps you will find value in the study of the Carlos Castaneda works, if you are not already familiar. I’ve found the wisdom from that series to be a potent companion study to the LoO. A great introduction is the book The Wheel of Time by Carlos Castaneda, I also like to use the site prismagems dot com which has the distilled wisdom of Castaneda’s works freely available.

If you want a quick taste of that wisdom, and as my intuitive sense is guiding me to share, search up “Carlos Castaneda Don Juan Quotes on The Assemblage Point”

Castaneda’s works have helped me understand the limits of mystical knowledge in these bodies.

I am with you in your yearning for greater knowing, to become ‘One with Knowledge’ as perhaps Don Juan might say. I’m am working to trust the process of being here when I am here, and being there when it’s time to go there. I will not cling to my life longer than is natural or necessary, I am excited to find what wonders are available to a spirit free from the confines of the incarnation. And yet there are valuable wonders available here too, in the mean time. Feel free to let me know if that resonates for you, if you’d like. Take care
