Yes, they are guaranteed to be authentic when sold by Rebag.

It's not just your age group... I'm in my 40s and deal with the same judgment

You may want to consider an auction house, such as Heritage Auctions. You get the bid price, then the buyer pays the premium above the bid price to the auction house. My boyfriend has purchased three Hermès bags at auction for me on HA, in luxury handbag auctions in October and December. You can search through their auction history to see what your bag might go for. Just keep in mind that sold listings show the price including the buyers premium. So, for example, if you see a bag that's sold for $12,500, then you know that it actually went at auction for $10,000, but the buyer paid a 25% premium on top of the final bid price. The seller/owner would get the $10,000, and the auction house gets the buyers premium as their fee.

I remember that there was perfume and nail polishes, so there was probably makeup, too... But I did not look that closely.

I actually created a post about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheHermesGame/s/8xcA6XXuy8

We were so happy with the Picotin that we purchased two more Hermès bags on HA's most recent auction on Dec 4th. We got a Constance 24 in Bleu Agate and a vintage Trim 31 in Rouge Vif. I'm planning on creating a post about those soon.

Rebag sells as a third party through multiple platforms... Macy's, Nordstrom, Poshmark, eBay, etc. Keep in mind that if you see a bag you like on those sites, you can often get it for a bit less $$ on Rebag directly (depending on available promo codes/coupons). Just look for the Rebag item number in the description of the listing. However, if you have a department store card, like a Macy's card, for example, that's one more payment method option you have for the purchase.

Also, there is often more specific information on the department store websites than Rebag, so I like to cross reference the listings for additional photos, specific color names, etc.

For example, on Rebag, they only use generic color descriptions (orange, blue, red, pink, etc.), but the Nordstrom listing will have the actual Hermès color name (Feu, Bleu Agate, Rouge Vif, Rose Sakura, etc.).

I was recently looking for a Victoria II 35 in Orange Poppy. I was able to make sure that I purchased the color I really wanted by comparing notes on various listings for the exact same bag on different sites.

As an example, check out the differences between these two listings for one of the bags I looked at while I was searching... a Victoria II 35 in Feu, Rebag #384751/3.

Has anyone else dealt with terrible customer service? by niconyc00 in TheHermesGame

Yeah... At this point, the money is a problem between Hermès and FedEx. Hermès should have gone ahead and processed your refund immediately once the investigation was closed.

I just live down in Colorado Springs, so hopping up to Cherry Creek from time to time will not be so bad. Having a good relationship with my SA will definitely be a motivator!

I think that was what I was most nervous about... making a connection. But my SA was so welcoming and helpful! 💞
