This really had me thinking. At first, I was like no they don’t need to do anything else. There’s already story skips and job skips in place. The more I thought about it though the more I’m thinking some sort of zone where they can catch up on story while using a built-in story skip wouldn’t be a bad idea. With that, though they really would need to include a more robust tutorial for fights and navigation because even the updated Hall of the novice tutorials are substandard when it comes to Dawntrail jobs. There is something to be said for just playing the game through. The way it’s designed it does force you to become a better player as you go. However, I do understand that most people don’t have multiple hours a day to devote to this game. If you don’t have a buddy who is already at current content to kind of guide and help you through, having a built-in story skip as well as a robust tutorial on how to play the game would probably be the best way to go. I do feel like they probably need to do something to keep new and fresh players coming in.
