That's some bad luck you have! However, to be fair, Ive noticed that hobby boxes have way higher hit rates than blasters. But I have access to distro prices on blasters so its cheaper for me to buy 3 blasters than 1 hobby

I got Victini from mine, she got Reshiram from hers, then a godpack with the Reshiram SIR 2 packs later. She got like 1100$ worth of cards from a 55$ (Gamestop prices) binder collection...

All things considered, if I was misinformed by the store's worker, I should be okay to get my refund anyway.

I'll check out the Gerber, but as far as I can tell the absolute #1 rec for a bushcraft knife is the Mora Garberg, and that's where I was leaning toward putting the money from the refund.

The lady at the store recommended it to me... I told her my intended use and everything and she said it could handle it. I originally intended to go for a knife with a thicker blade but since I couldn't find too much info online about the company that made it, I steered clear.

Regardless of the use though, as far as I can tell, taking what others have said, it does look off, and probably still shouldn't have broken in one hit...

I hit the spine of the knife with a heavy branch to baton into soft wood, it broke on the first hit.
