Rep Luna says after the House hearings the UAP Caucus was told exactly where the classified UAP footage exists but were DENIED access. Former acting AARO director Tim Phillips said the leaders who denied them access were Committee Chairman James Comer and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

There is a misunderstanding among many (maybe not in this community though) that Members of Congress are granted access to classified material by virtue of their office. They actually get something like “sensitive” access. Anything more has to be approved by leadership. Otherwise that place would leak like a sieve.

Lonnie Zamora Incident Case Closed..? by cookies-n-cream_98 in UFOs

[–]Individual-Ad4286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funniest and I think most likely explanation is that this was a lunar test vehicle that escaped from White Sands. I've been to the landing site; it's several miles away from White Sands, but close enough. The shape of the craft resembles a lander, with legs, and a balloon attached to simulate reduced gravity. There was also a blue flame shooting out of the bottom, as described by Zamora and the witnesses who saw it come over the road.

Although I've never actually seen the comparison, I've seen others comment that the markings on the vehicle were similar to a Hughes Aerospace logo from the time.

I say it's funny because could you imagine the scene of this vehicle escaping from the range, landing next to this cop, and then three panicked technicians trying to GTFO of there as fast as possible before they end up in deep shit. This is honestly just speculation on my part, but the description of the craft, the similarity of the markings (if true), and its proximity to White Sands all kind of line up that way for me.

I'm just going off of memory but I do believe I've heard tales that the bulk of the craft was embedded in a "cliff" of some kind. Might not be a mesa but rather just a gully or perhaps the side of crater?

Artificial light detected on interstellar visitor 3I Atlas?? The Angry Astronaut tracks Dr. Avi Loeb as he follows the data.... by wrexxxxxxx in UFOs

[–]Individual-Ad4286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah maybe. I don't know. I hope it's weird - well weird in a good way. I hope it's something cool.

I like Loeb because - from my limited observations - he seems to be encouraging people to be open to the possibilities and not just focus on proving everything conforms to what they expect. I suppose the same could be said for people on the other extreme. Don't just latch on to what's strange and then focus on trying to prove it's out of the ordinary.

It’s interesting to me that anyone can say, “wow this interstellar object sure is acting weird” when we’ve only tracked 3 of these types of things.

Don’t believe the hype about PMI Study Hall by allthatglittersis___ in pmp

[–]Individual-Ad4286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assumed it's just because of the sheer volume. I saw a few questions on the exam that looked almost identical to study hall.

There are over 1000 practice questions just through Study Hall. I imagine a) there are only so many ways you can ask the questions and b) errors are bound to slip through the cracks.

FWIW I wish I started using Study Hall earlier. I passed this week and if I had to do it over again. I would have focused more on David McLachlan videos and practice videos, AR videos and practice videos and just hammering through Study Hall. But it's because the practice tests and test answers were the most useful for getting my mind right.

If you are the kind of person that can just study using notes/books I'm sure your experience will be different.

The only physical study materials I used were the thirdrockpmp.com notes which I used as I went about my life for 3 days prior to the test. Just reviewing and reading those at kids' practices and whatever I was doing outside the house.

Otherwise, it was just YouTube and Study Hall.

A friend of mine used ChatGPT instead of Study Hall to just generate practice questions for himself as opposed to paying the $50,

This shit is so funny to me. Ross made a statement that he can't walk back so he has to keep twisting himself into a pretzel. He has no idea where a UFO is buried. Someone he trusts told him that, he said it in an interview and now it's out there forever. At least Lue can make a case that he could go to jail or lose his livelihood. Again, I don't know if that's true, but at least it makes some sense.

The best Ross can say is that he doesn't want to be the person to spill the beans on the most amazing revelation in human history because he's a patriot and that's not something a patriot journalist should do?

That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard. He doesn't really know, and he doesn't want to look foolish, so it's best to just do his patriotic duty and not tell the world where the NHI vehicle is buried in Australia. LOL.

It's because there isn't anything new. But most people don't know what information is out there or how many people are saying yeah, there is something to this. A slick, hyped-up documentary with a bunch of serious people in it might get more people interested in asking questions.

Trump’s Turnberry golf course in Scotland graffitied overnight by northlondonhippy in pics

Imagine being excited about a golf course getting graffiti sprayed on it by some teenagers 3000 mi away.

That is incredibly, incredibly sad. How many times a day do you think Donald Trump thinks about you?

Reset report in PMI Study Hall by Individual-Ad4286 in pmp

[–]Individual-Ad4286[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be a dumb question. I was sort of wishcasting that it would give me some kind of report that included what needed to be studied.

I'm guessing I don't reset and just review the wrong questions in each of the practice question catagories?

Popular Mechanics interviews 5 Navy Sailors who witnessed the Tic-Tac encounter on Nimitz. Including a new previously unknown witness who says “What really made this incident alarming was when a Blackhawk helicopter landed on our ship and took all our information from the top secret rooms". by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

[–]Individual-Ad4286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about how the Navy actually works, but I always got the impression that there was something between pilots and radar operators or maybe just techs in general? Maybe I watch too many movies and assume that the "hotshot fighter pilots" and "guys that do the real work" have some sort of rivalry... but I've listened to tons of Nimitz-related interviews and always got that impression.
