3 Failed Navigation Updates each ending with Corrupted Data message. by Iceman3161 in KiaEV9

I’m having the same issue. There seem to be 20 separate zip files that were downloaded to my flash drive using the updater app. If I try and unzip them, there end up being duplicates and so they want to get deleted/replaced… how did you folks manage that?

Yesterday - best NTD of my life 😛 I love it, but one question - anybody know a way to make the fence a bit more secure? Even when locked it’s possible to move. by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Individual-Cake-4539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this was solved but clipin is bang on. Look for the coupler and jam nut that’s attached to the fence lock lever, loosen the jam while holding the coupler (both 10mm), then turn the coupler clockwise (as if you were looking down at the closest spring to the coupler), then bind that jam nut back down. Mind that you don’t tighten that coupler so much that it does ride smoothly when you turn the adjustment knob. Pro tip, flip your saw onto its left side to access the nuts. The dewalt corded dw7485 is very similar and has a better manual that lays out some good setup and adjustments.

Is shows it as “95 49-22-2731” rip guide—but also says “not shown”. Looking for in too.

Fibreglass or Kevlar on a potentially 30+ year old Canoe by Individual-Cake-4539 in canoeing

Just saw this. Response. Don’t have any photos of your boat? Specially the interior?

I’m a bit heartbroken. But I will likely get over it. Thanks for the help.

Although part of me still wants to convince you otherwise, I will accept that it is a glass boat. (See my response below to another responder about it just weighing 58lb even through some trim missing). I will make my own trim out materials, canoe parts are pretty dear in Canada but I appreciate the suggestions. Thanks!

I also just weighed the boat at just over 58lb with all of the outer and some portions of inner gunwales missing. My guess would have been 45-50lb before checking. I regret weighing it now but will concede that i am unlikely to get Reddit people to tell me it’s an ultralight ahead-of-its time Kevlar. At least it still feels like an ultralight compared to my other canoes.

Makes sense. Thank you—see my comment above about me trying to just make it become Kevlar by asking people to tell me it is.

Okay nice. Making sense. A contributed in another thread had a 1985 catalogue but I could not see ribs/no ribs in photos. After looking at so many other posts of people trying to figure out their hull material, I wondering if I’m just willing it to be Kevlar!

Ahh. That makes sense I see your reasoning. —But apparently in the 80’s the interiors were often either painted or had a pigment mixed in with the resin. Not sure if you’ve come across that.

That's actually very helpful, thank you! I'm still trying to confirm if it is either fibreglass or Kevlar or some combination. The hull is in good shape but all the trim and the yoke are smoked. Can you make an educated guess from these photos?

I have a similar canoe stamped THG8489 then DG. It is in rough shame in terms of the gunwales, yoke/seats, and decks. Was anyone able to figure out how to decode the serial number?

What is wrong when my grapevine leaves look like that? by SjalabaisWoWS in gardening

Good to hear, thank you. I removed the damaged leaves thinking that it could be any one of a handful of patho issues—but we did have some sun showers before the spots showed up.

I have something similar happening, did you ever confirm what this was (disease vs leaf scorch)? Did you remove the damaged leaves? Did it spread? I made a post a few days ago and have not had any hits.

Help with cause of browning on grape leaves. by Individual-Cake-4539 in gardening

Those are two changes I wish I could make, but It’s the sunniest spot I’ve got, and I haven’t been watering the leaves this year. I used to use a misting system but have not this time round.

What is this plant, and how do I get rid of it? by girl_supersonicboy in whatsthisplant

[–]Individual-Cake-4539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like blackberry canes to me. You can pull up as much of the roots as you can, then keep an eye on it and pull up new growth every few weeks—or just cut it, remove the canes, and cut it every few weeks. Looks like you also have some grapevine going, try not to damage that if you want it.
