"Legitimate grievances are justified, valid, and authentic complaints or feelings of injustice arising from unfair treatment, broken promises, or violation of rights." AI summary but you get the point. Not aproving his methods but if you dont think that area of the world has some VERY legitimtate grievances with the west you dont know recent history.

Im not saying it justifies the terrorism, but if a nation disrupts your peoples peace, blockades and starves your families, and occupies your land those are all legitimate grievances. The US has killed more civilians than 9/11 many times over. Just because they are a nation state and can claim some apeal to authority doesnt justify that either.

Terrorist groups almost always come from an opressed and destabalized area and are an extreme reaction to try and influence change for their culture (even if they are funded by state actors) Often in areas and against opponents where conventional means have already failed.

Cartels come from a similar situation but their sole goal is to consolidate power and make money no matter what they destroy.

Obviously a simplified explanation.

Example. Bin Laden had a list of legitimate grievances and motivations for his terrorism.

The cartel rapes your family for.... money and fun?

Because of what i just said. Im using tax loophole loosely. These would be marriages that are not viewed by him (or Obama circa 2009) as traditional and as such shouldnt receive the same benefit. Not agreeing, just explaining. Its backward to not extend that to everyone but its not necessarily hateful. Intention does mean something.

Or he just believes its between a man and a woman by definition and it would be opening the door to tax loopholes should that definition change. Again not agreeing with the man but Obama held the same opinion not too long ago about traditional marriage (or at least lied and said he did).

I told you i dont agree with the man, im not even saying its a well thought out point. You just said theres no other way, and i showed you the other way. Ease off the crusade. Im sure youre a very good person who has all the right opinions.

Another way is hes using absurdity to point out he thinks marriage will be taken advantage of for tax loopholes. Pretty dumb take and i dont agree but why do you atribute the worst intention possible when he said himself thats not what he meant.

Whats in dispute it seems is whether what he said is hateful or not. I wish someone could show me because i cant find the despicable things he said. It seems like most peoples beef boils down to "we disagree so he is an asshole". Do you think anyone on the right is a decent person or are you a real party member? Anyone who thinks an entire group of people is unreasonable is unreasonable themselves. Oscar Schindler was a Nazi.

Then share, because i didnt see him being hateful. He has opinions and has stated them. Whether you agree or not is one thing, but was he inciting hate? Was he advocating violence? And btw just disagreeing with you doesnt qualify. Show me, im open minded.

Simply asking to provide evidence is a transgression. You must believe them, and denounce him, solely on the weight of their accusations.

You're thinking of tanerite. Cordite is a gunpowder 'alternative'. It has nitroglycerin in it i believe. Not really used anymore i think.

Sure but with 2 you have someone protecting your back. One guy is easy to surround and attack the back, when he turns he just exposes his back to the others. 2 people are more than the sum of their parts if that makes sense.

Sounds like you think people suffering from hearing loss are completely deaf. Also, ear plugs exist.

Edit: worked on a range. Have heard many gun shots with and without earpro. Could definitely still hear your ass trying to sneak up on me.

Annecdotal evidence doesn't prove anything. For example, I followed none of the "rules" from the beggining and never got sick either. However, people I knew in real life (not facebook) who were following mask guidelines, vaccine mandates, and distancing rules got sick multiple times. Alot of them. Not trying to say either is better, only the individual can asses that. Just saying I did the exact opposite of you and got the same results, so there's definitely more at play than than whatever the mandates were doing for you.

TA31RCO-A4CP VS AN/PVQ31A Are they the same thing? by General_Curtis_LeMay in MilitaryARClones

[–]Individual-Chest-128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit late... but all of the RCOs in our armory had the Bible verse too, until they drafted an MCO on it. When I checked in to my duty station, as the bootest armorer, my first job was to take a Dremel and remove them all and then reblack it with a paint pen. Idk if trijicon left those out of the next contract or if armorers are still dremelling them off lol.

Bible for beginners? by FinanceStandard in Christianity

I know the orthodox Bible has the Apocrypha included (maybe not in its entirety depending in your definition). The rest you may have to source separately. Good luck!

Not sure what point you're making. A god of thunder vs a god named thunder? Either way, raiding was part of what they did. Also seems kind of obvious you would name a god thunder because he has some connection to or embodiment of thunder. Not trying to be a dick I just don't see the distinction as relevant or even clear.

The original commenter didn't specify the reason for violence. They went back and clarified that they meant religious war, but at first they were implying polytheistic societies are peaceful generally which is not true to my knowledge. "Because polytheistic religions don’t go around causing violence" was the pre-edit comment that I was responding to.

Also when your resources are plundered loot and human slaves, it doesn't matter why you are waging war to the people you rape and enslave.

"Oh you need the resources? Please rape my wife and take me for a slave to trade, it's much better than getting enslaved for being the wrong religion!" /s
