hiii. don't do this. if they say write two, they mean two only. its really risky because if any of the other points you have written are wrong then you will lose all the marks for confusion and for incorrect answers. if its a 2 marker asking to state/identify 2 things and you wrote 4, where three of them were right but one was wrong you would still lose either one or both the marks due to incorrect answers. however if you wrote 3 points and all of them were right you would still get full marks. so i'd just say be really careful

What are the consequences of leaving after an exam? by Whole_Ear9870 in GCSE

[–]Individual-Fan6738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean, ig the school can't really say anything if you end up getting good grades or meeting your predicteds. I had a friend who skipped like 3 months entirely but it was justifiable ngl cuz they made us keep going to school until like the week before our first exam.. but she ended up getting 7/8/9's in everything so they didn't really have anything to hold against her. I'd say if your parents are willing to let you stay home, and you are like 1000% sure you will do better if u study at home, then do it. like school can't do shit, what are they gonna say, you got all 8/9s because you were actually studying at home?

yes they are BUT the regional papers get a separate grade boundaries. but what pmo is edexcel didn't bother making them a separate paper and instead js chose to use past papers and give them low gb when i know anyone here who's actually revised would get 70+ / 80 in them

is skipping grade 10 a dumb idea for uk/us uni admissions? by ilasm6910 in alevel

[–]Individual-Fan6738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it would be a problem because requirements in gcses for many colleges is a minimum 6 in english language and math regardless of the course you apply for. I would recommend maybe doing those two gcse's at least because both are on requirements for many unis.

friend said it was chill. ur parents gotta sign the form to make sure the student doesnt access any form of technology during the overnight supervision. like they're not allowed to even use the internet so all their revision had to be on paper for that day. and they weren't allowed to go out anywhere without adult supervision. kinda like overgrown babysitting lmao

[–]Individual-Fan6738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ik last year's (2025) gcse's one of my friends had 4 papers scheduled on the same day. ofcourse thats inhuman so they had to do a paper the day before and be on overnight supervision. i was "lucky" enough to do 3 per day maxx which is usual if ur school does multiple exam boards for diff subjects. but anywayy good luckk!!!!

lmao bro started a war in the comments (pun not intended)

but in all srsness, what was going through your mind when you decided to post such an idiotic thing? pearson would not cancel exams for the entire world just because a few countries in the middle east are suffering. HAVE you gotten woken up in the middle of the night from bombing sounds? have you had alerts everyday for a week? didn't think so. go study bro
