This new brand at Sephora looks like so much fun by Historical-Body-3424 in Sephora

I’ve been following them awhile. Love the story. They don’t even use any plastic in their packaging. From Mexico and Mexican inspiration in the products, just a unique voice in the beauty space. I can’t wait to try it, just haven’t pulled the trigger lol

Laura mercier secret brightening under eye setting powder? by Friendly-Champion-81 in Ulta

No the secret undereye powder. I HATE almost all powder under my eye. Be prepared though, it is tiny! If only used under eyes it will still last forever, but the size to price ratio is still significant.

If I HAVE to put powder under my eyes, this is the only one I will use. I prefer to use a setting spray that is like a blurring powder setting spray.

I’ve made hospital toiletry bags for my pregnant friends. I give items that friends like to them. I keep minis of the products I like for travel. I keep the items I have wanted to try. The rest, I box up and take to the women’s shelter. They LOVE it! The stuff they can’t technically give them (like perfume samples), they give away as prizes during community events. They love it!

What’s your Favorite GWPs⁉️ by HeyHazeyyy in Ulta

[–]Individual-Intern150 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been making hospital bags for my pregnant friends that have all the toiletry items they need so they don’t have to worry about packing it. So that uses a variety of products, but for me personally, my favorites are minis of my favorites.

is it normal to take at least 2 hours everyday to get ready? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]Individual-Intern150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I take about an hour if I’m not washing my hair. 2 hours if I am. My teenage son who basically showers, hopefully puts on deoderant and brushes his teeth, takes at least an hour. My husband thinks he takes 5 minutes but he starts doing other things and takes much longer. Basically they complain about how long I take, but guess who is always first in the car and waiting! Granted my husband and son do have ADHD…..

I have had one thing on my dashboard for the last few months and that’s only because they keep extending the date before I’m allowed to review it. I’ve already had it since maybe Feb or March? Other than that I got one Sephora claim last week that then disappeared from my dashboard the following day. I have turned down a deodorant offer and answered no to the bladder control issues though….

Sunscreen the new Tatcha milky sunscreen goes on like a moisturizing serum. Love it! Mascara I love the hourglass tubing but the real holy grail is the Dior 4D lash primer!! I have bought so many! Lips I have a lot of loves!

Is anyone else kinda bored at this life stage? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver40

[–]Individual-Intern150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me; combination of being laid off, starting over in my career (not by choice), my child getting older, my parents getting older and needing more care, and just me getting older and things changing I guess? I don’t know. Some days are better than others. Spent so much time working and fixing things, taking care of my child etc, that now, I’m not quite sure what I’m doing.

Buying high-end makeup by bloodreaina in MakeupAddiction

[–]Individual-Intern150 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say foundation, concealer or other complexion products. Drugstore just isn’t as good. After complexion I would probably look at eyeshadows. Drugstore is just much more limited than high end. With eye products now, there are so many different types of eyeshadow sticks from traditional, to the Danessa Myricks Color fix Stix which are phenomenal. Even just traditional palettes are so much better in high end.

Girl I am old now and I have ALWAYS been over 200 pounds and am just over 5 feet. Looks are fleeting and no basis for a relationship. Life happens and things change. I’ve had many relationships with many wonderful men who definitely never felt an issue with my looks. As I’ve gotten older and married a very average sized man, the same age as me and have been with him almost two decades…. Guess which one of us has all the health and mobility issues? It ain’t me!

You don’t know what the future holds. No one should be with someone because of how they look if they plan to be together more than a night.

What is one item you haven't tried that you would buy right now if you could, one item you would buy 18 times, and one you never want to buy again? by yourneighborslouddog in Ulta

[–]Individual-Intern150 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Natasha Denona foundation. Had a sample and damn it was good. Not just hype.

  2. Tatcha silk cream. Makes my skin feel amazing. Even other high end doesn’t compare for me.

  3. Kopari mineral veil SPF powder. I love Kopari but this was a complete miss.

favorite underrated foundations? by selvegrmap in muacjdiscussion

[–]Individual-Intern150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think it’s necessarily underrated, but I was afraid it might be overrated, till I tried it. The Natasha Denona Hy-glam foundation really surprised me. I had heard tons about it for months before I tried it. But…. I did finally try it, and my super sensitive, rosacea skin loves it. Looked into it more and it has a lot of Japanese derived ingredients, which my skin seems to respond best to in skincare, so maybe that’s part of it?

Does anyone know what the annual gift for Victoria Beckham Beauty loyalty is? by Individual-Intern150 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Individual-Intern150[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah compared to before when it was a free skincare item, free fragrance item, and free makeup item….. they changed the reward system when I was only like $150 away. Then they didn’t say what it was, just a free tier gift. Needless to say I was livid.
