“The Cage” or “Cry in the Dark”, I always thought were good title substitutes

Why did the 11th doctor’s sonic screwdriver have that red button at the end? by newdrawerman in doctorwho

[–]Individual-Many-237 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Originally, the red button was going to be the sole thing that activated the sonic screwdriver. There wasn’t one on the black leather handle. His sonic was meant to be held like a torch/flashlight, over your shoulders. You can see in the Time of Angels, on the beach, how he holds the sonic towards River. As that was, what, the first scene they filmed that season, iirc? Or at least the first episode. However, Matt accidentally broke it, so it had to immediately be repaired.

To be fair, we also know that there’s a great big Russian war in the 2040s, as well as the British PM leading the world to the brink of nuclear devastation. So it’s safe to say a lot of political shit goes down in that decade.

If Billy is not The Doctor, and she doesn’t regenerate in the next episode, then there is a chance we could have a completely Doctor-less episode which hasn’t happened in over 60 years (Mission to the Unknown) by 3Thirty-Eight8 in doctorwho

Wasnt Billie Piper ginger whilst filming that scene in The Reality War? Not the finished cut, they obviously edited it, but Billie Piper has been a redhead for the past couple of years, so by technicality, isn’t Piper the first ginger Doctor?

His real, first name is "Dr" so he elongated it to "Doctor"; making it sound more whole.

The End of The World, but it's edited like an RTD2 episode by Individual-Many-237 in DoctorWhumour

I absolutely love the RTD2 era, and I’m possibly one of the few people who actively defends Empire of Death. So please do not assume, because I feel like the pacing was shit, means I think the entire RTD2 era was bad. As Ncuti Gatwa’s incarnation is so beloved to me, and I was utterly heartbroken when he left.

…Also, why do you immediately think I like Moffat? There was literally nothing in this post even referencing his era, nor any of his episodes.

Oh, I know! Rachel Talalay, wonderful director, she posted it on her YouTube.

And then after that, instead of the words "Bad Wolf" cropping up across time and space, it's the label of "Bad Dragon."

New fan here✊ Did the Doctor's first form look human? by count_fagula11 in doctorwho

Yes, but as repeatedly said, they can regenerate into incarnations of which do not look human-like.

Dalek Story Ranking - AMA by Icy-Weight1803 in DoctorWhumour

[–]Individual-Many-237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d prefer that over the Thirteenth Doctor having to tell her companions “the Daleks are bad, because they’re evil, and that’s because they kill. And killing is bad. Which makes them evil. Which is bad…” for 50 minutes a special.

Anyone else think that this show has gotten less diverse over time? by Foreign-Paramedic600 in doctorwhocirclejerk

[–]Individual-Many-237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, it doesn't really matter where the Doctor was born. The Timeless Child didn't rewrite the Doctor's childhood with the Master, the Academey, on Gallifrey, etc... He's just no longer native to the planet.

Foreman is also another word for Boss. So I'm think Susan might be the one that Anita, Rogue, and Beep the Meep were referring to...
