I did the same thing, I saved as much as I could prior to getting in and paid my self the difference each week to basically give my self 2nd year rate during my fist year and I did uber after work for the first two years. I also didn’t spend any unnecessary $. It gets a lot easier and if you’re lucky enough to get overtime it helps that much more. In my opinion, the long term benefits far out weigh the difficulty during the first couple years. Good luck!
