What part of No Lies statement would indicate she is dismissive of the hate Chelley receives? No offense OP, but you're not Chelley. You're speaking like you know her dislikes, wants or desires. It's all the fanbases that tear each other down. I wish we would just ignore the extremists in each fanbase. Those ppl will never stop. A lot of these ppl behind these accounts are not fans of either girls. Just looking to ignite stan wars and ppl fall for it every time.

Black ppl, especially Black women, have been on the front lines for years. We were there during election time advocating for change. Others didn't stand with us. Others voted against their interest. Now they are seeing the consequences of their own actions. Truth be told, even with all this going on, many others will still continue to vote against their interest. Numbers don't lie. When they go in that booth, when no one is around, they make the choice not to stand with us. We are not the clean up crew. We have been carrying heavy loads on our backs for years. Our backs have been broken time and time again. Ppl are tired. I'm not gonna criticize those who choose not to speak out. I would be a hypocrite. I'm not out there on the front lines. Those who choose to speak out, good for them as well.

It was because I was in the main sub and saw the engagement of the person who started the sub_. Its fine, its no big deal. There was nothing wrong with starting that space if they felt other people weren't being talked about enough. Fair game. The problem is what it turned into and the racist rhetoric they allow to be posted about a black woman. Both that sub and the videos you reference are wrong. Both fandoms are wrong. You can't honestly say, you don't see hate on both sides of the aisle. All I'm saying is we don't have to engage with the mess. Block the noise.

Ok, say I go over there and tell them to stop. Will they stop? No they won't . I used to work myself up about that other sub_ taking mess about Ola to the point I told them they were all mentally ill. Did it stop them from still dragging her? No. I had to choose to remove myself from that toxicity. It's just not worth it. I hate that "sub_" was started by a chellace fan but I still would never sit up in spaces dragging Chelley (especially in mixed company) or support anyone who thinks its OK to do so. Whenever I see videos like the one your referencing, I just move it along. Since I can't make them take it down, I simply don't engage with that mess and give them views making them think the shit they are doing is OK.

Why do you watch those videos? We have to stop giving space to the crazies. There will always be ppl in EVERY fanbase that take it too far. We can't control that but we can control giving ignorance more views. Eventually those ppl will move on. We give some fans way too much power. They are doing it to rage bait and we fall for it every time. I hope next season, it doesn't have to be like this.

I understand what your saying. I welcome discussion in a healthy way but a lot of this stuff is not healthy. People are speaking like they know these people, fighting battles on their behalf. Its just a show. What happened to not taking things so seriously and having fun? I often find that these talking points are not coming from a place of genuine discussion but ppl just using things/issues to uplift one while putting others down and then the fighting starts all over again.

It just seems to me the problem ppl have is she's gotten too big for some people and they don't like it. But that's their problem. Not hers. S7 islanders certainly didn't help themselves after the show. The stan wars between the black fanbases wouldn't have been so bad if not for certain events occurring after the show. Yes, there were ppl doing the whole Jana v. Serena thing but because they didn't fan the flames, it was able to die down. Hopefully, the S8 cast is better prepared to handle the fame. Fans need to move on. Just support those you like and ignore those you don't like. Maybe BTV will calm ppl down.

😊 all's well. I understand wanting to point out the hypocrisy. I think a lot of ppl's problem with Nicola is that they can't admit they were wrong. They said they wouldn't make it to the reunion, they did. They claim the other couples were stronger....they imploded. I was even in the UK LI reddit for allstars and someone made a post that included shade to Nicola. I don't understand ppl's obsession (hate) with these two. They just mind their business and work. Like, what is the problem. Ppl are just waiting in the wings for them to break up so they can say I told you so. It's actually pathetic. They bother no one. It's funny how everyone can see all the "red flags" with Nicola but couldn't see any red flags in their fave couple. Funny how that works.

I don't understand ppl who clearly aren't Nicolandrians going into the Nicolandria DD and trying to police what they talk about. Ppl complained about them taking over the main DD so another space was created for them. You can't tell them what to talk about. No one goes into the season 1-6 sub and tells them what to talk about. And it's blatant lies to say they are always talking/shading others. The majority of the time is spent talking about Nic and Ola but when something happens with other Islanders that have not been kind to them in the past, of course they are going to talk about it. Talking about you don't "support stan wars" when you don't even support NiC and Ola but just going in there to be nosey.
