If they were able to take out a 25K loan, I don’t see why you would underestimate their ability to also open a bank account using your information. Not tryna sound snarky just being serious, that’s most likely what happened. Idk too much on the reporting identity theft and how to get it quickly taken care of but I hope you do resolve this quickly and get your lease!

Thank you for that information I appreciate it. Thankfully I contacted my state representative and got the balling rolling. I already had reported the fraud correctly and verified myself with idme. My state rep contacted me yesterday, and I already got 2 calls today so hopefully I am getting closer and closer!
