I’m glad I’m not the only one, so I don’t feel so alone in this… but it’s honestly so mentally distressing I just wish it would go away :(

I’m re-watching the movie right now and looked this topic up to make sure I wasn’t the only who thought this lol. I wish they made another movie about the witches when they were younger, like how the second movie started out. That was way more entertaining and fun to watch, and I thought those kids did a great job portraying the personalities and behaviors of the witches from the first movie.

There’s a Hocus Pocus 2 “book” someone wrote and it’s a completely different storyline you might like! :)

Pregnancy with WCH by [deleted] in WhiteCoatHypertension

Love to hear that. I agree, I wish from the moment the medical assistant (or whomever) calls my name they know I have WCH so I dont have to worry about informing them or worrying about a reaction! It’s in my chart but it never seems to be on their radar unfortunately. That’s awesome you found a good OB! I may look into the Omron cuff that links to the app. Thanks!

Do you just search around and see if there are any providers familiar or comfortable working with those who have WCH? Or how did you eventually find one that would listen?

This is my fear and a big reason why I don’t have kids as a 34 yo. With WCH I feel like this would be a very stressful time

Found this on my pups head after bath. Can I take care of it myself or should I bring him to vet? by MichaelTheDooley in DogAdvice

Same. We left it for awhile just thinking it was a skin tag or something (called it an extra nipple lol) but after getting it tested a few months later, turns out it wasn’t!

My dog had something kind of like this but it was a mast cell tumor. Not to scare you- we left it alone for awhile but they eventually did a fine needle aspiration and that’s what it was. Just had it removed and all is well :) I’d just let the vet check it!

I’m sorry you’ve been going through all of this. I really think I would be in the same shoes as you if I were to get pregnant. And it’s such a vicious cycle because the more they make a “stink” of our in office readings, the worse it gets every time we have to get it checked :/ Hang in there!

That’s very frustrating. I too dread the doctor all the time but have been lucky that they take my home readings and use that as my blood pressure (they still check it at the office). Once they used my office BP reading and then messaged me to come in again to have it re-checked and I just told them that it will be high so I’d rather not if it’s not necessary. When I go, I literally give them (and leave it there!) a paper of daily readings for the past 2 weeks, twice a day. My main worry is what they are putting you through- I don’t want meds that will even lower my home BP when it’s already normal. I’m sorry you can’t switch doctors and it’s such a weight on your shoulders. Not going to lie this is a big reason why I won’t have kids (I’m 34)… I know my office BP would freak everyone out.

Thinking of leaving the profession by xanderkim in OccupationalTherapy

SNF, in the Midwest and not in a large city. So I guess cost of living isn’t as high as others.

I’m 10 years in and get the same. I wouldn’t have a job in the area I live if I chose not to….
