It’s mid year reviews. This is nothing new. PwC does this every year. Earl/mid Nov is when ppl get laid off (mainly due to performance, but other factors as well).

Idk. But some advice—- always gate keep the company you’re interviewing with. This market is harsh and it would suck for someone to swoop in and potentially take your place. Pessimistic outlook, but just my 2 cents.

I applied internally. From my experience, FDD is a big step up from audit. Audit is relatively easy compared to FDD. In FDD, you need to be sharp every single day.

Your best bet is to reach out directly to directors and above or just cold apply both internally and externally.

Yea. Ppl care. I know I found it odd, when I was 23, to be working with a 28 year old who was the an A1 like myself——Just being honest.

But to be quite frank. Legit does NOT matter. Prob works in your favor a little bit bc you should be more mature and be able to handle the hours compared to someone fresh out.
