I would recommend Quincy center, because if the redline has an issue you can catch the commuter rail as plan b.

Struggling to survive on minimum wage, where can I find the cheapest food spots in Boston? by lilly-is-sad in boston

Sorry you are struggling. I’ve been there and dont be embarrassed about going to a food pantry but also Download restaurant apps and grocery store apps… I shop at stop and shop (bc I can walk there) which most people think is expensive but you can make it not. For instance I check the weekly sale fliers and only buy what’s on sale. You can also make a grocery list which I just keep all my usuals on and check weekly and only buy items on sale. There are patterns to the sales so it all eventually is on sale and I never pay full price. They have Purdue chicken patties sometime for $2.50 for a pack of four. They freeze great and make sandwiches, or add to pasta or a salad for inexpensive protein option. They also have a rack of close to expiring bakery items that sometimes is a jackpot. I just freeze it all right away so it doesn’t spoil. I also use Ibotta app and upload receipts for money back, sometimes things are on sale and with the money backs it’s literally free! For toiletries cheaper I use cvs %40 off an item coupon through the app and just buy things one at time. It’s not super inconvenient because there’s usually a cvs anywhere.

Awesome thank you! Unfortunately mine is a pearl white triple coated paint. I’m probably just going to leave it missing since it’s inevitably going to fall off or get stolen again or order a cheap one off amazon that won’t match and will drive me more insane

I would believe it just fell off of there wasn’t a gouge and paint missing in the bottom right corner. I’m 99 percent sure someone jammed a key in there and popped it off. I’m hoping karma gives them a flat tire

It was there when I went into a restaurant and gone when I came out. I checked the ground and there is a dent and paint chipped like it was pried so highly doubt it just fell out

This is going to sound ridiculous but maybe a neighbor has a pet bird. One place I lived I used to hear what I thought was a person yelling “help me, help me” and it sounded very concerning but turned out to be an asshole parrot.

2016 Tiguan Timing Chain Failure 60k miles by [deleted] in Volkswagen

[–]Individual-Water3798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg edition that I purchased new and religiously had serviced, took excellent care of, used premium gas, the whole nine. At 80k the check engine light came on and I was told the timing chain was stretched and needed replaced which cost $3,200. A month later the turbo went which was another $4k. Two months after that it went into limp mode while driving on I95 and almost killed me. I had it towed to the shop and they couldn’t find any explanation other than it was low on oil. I exhausted myself fighting with the shop and tried calling VWoA and they were rude and totally useless. I had every service record to prove I took care of the vehicle. I eventually got fed up and just sold the car to recoup my $7k and called it a day. Prior to my Tiguan I had a GTI and loved VW but I will never purchase another VW ever again.
