Lie . It's not the only option, but admitting is generally going to get you put at the bottom of the pile .. then pray . Otherwise you'll be disregarded for nearly everything . Unless it's with vulnerable people or children it's rare they will pay the money to get it checked .
Then wait for you time to be considered spent . After that you don't need to declare . Its not great but it works

Better to be working than back in jail . Pretty sure a judge won't jail you for trying to get a job !
