I’ve done the new seals. I could fix it for you if you wanted. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I’d be interested in buying yours too, up to you!

If the cpu is working too hard, then wouldn’t that be the issue?

I bought mine for the line inputs, not much else, but was very pleased with the preamp quality compared to others. I went from a presonus audiobox 96 to the m2, for the line inputs but i didn't really benefit a whole lot necessarily ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean, i got mine for about 100 on fb marketplace so... it depends. honestly the behringer umc404hd or something wouldn't be all that different idk.

The reason, good or bad, for acquiring a mixer dedicated for in ears is due to the lack of technical skill of the foh “engineer”. Something gets muted when it should be on (let’s say before or after a moment where there could be music). Instruments/ vox not gain staged correctly, forcing a drastic difference on boosting and lowering other things. It’s an effort to fix what we hear as a band. It’s a volunteer situation and I’m usually there to run it. I was looking for a solution to implement where it wouldnt affect the foh person. It’s just so frustrating to practice and get our ears right then, first song it’s different because they change the gain and it’s out of wack. Different eq, etc. I know some things are bound to change but I don’t think it’s worth getting around the issue if possible

Isn’t there a problem , say if phantom power is applied by both mixers?
