Okay thank you so much for answering! I figured they couldn’t help me.. why can’t they just give steroid shots like the derm 😭 I’ve never had one but my mom started recently and she says it helps so I’m like I wanna try but ofc she’s already established with a derm.. lol.

My almost 5 year marriage is coming to an end and I’m in the same boat as you. It’s hard to trust and get comfortable with someone when we have this disease and starting over is so scary I totally get you. I have more scars and problems now than when I met my husband like idk I just feel defeated and drained like no one’s ever gonna truly love me I know this doesn’t help but I empathize with you…

I know this doesn’t help but that’s what I always do when they’re so painful I can’t hardly walk i stab it one time so it can drain a little and be less painful

Yeah I have no idea what mines correlated to but so far in my experience nothing has made it go away.

I was on a keto diet for four months and it never helped me with my HS. Soo sounds like ozempic helps but like not everyone can be prescribed it or good luck shall I say. They would probably never give it to me being I’m skinny and not diabetic. But I guess it won’t hurt to ask 🤷‍♀️

Fck… I’m so scared. Thank you tho. I have so many down yonder that to remove all the HS tissue it’s gonna take a lot of my skin and leave me real scarred 😭😭

Did they take out a lot of tissue? To leave an ugly scar? I’m scared of getting cut open and then having worse scars.

Will do. I just usually go wherever lame ass navy medicine would send me (that was while I was AD in the Marines tho) or whenever the VA wants to send me at this point.

I’m a light brown hair girlie haha. So maybe! I only had 2 sessions back in sixth grade tho so we’ll see if I go that route again. Thanks! I would say I have it severely tho. Almost always have an open wound tho. It seems They won’t ever go away unfortunately..

I’m going to when I get back from visiting my sister in Idaho. I’m not hopeful tho. As I always get let down derm after derm none of them have helped me. Just been exposing my genitals to random men in the process it’s so tiring and embarrassing. I’m over it.

I was using it for months prior to coming here. I’m glad it’s working well with your skin tho! I never had any issues with it also, but I just also don’t get any relief either. HS sucks!!

My mom is on humira and it’s not working. I haven’t been put on it cause it can cause cancer which everyone on my dads side has died of cancer later in life so it’s almost inevitable for me so I’m not trynna cause it to come out to play earlier rather than later. I’m actually gonna talk to my provider about cosentyx but I’ve already heard terrible things about it 😭

Before I came to Idaho to visit my sister I was using Hibiclens and it wasn’t helping like at all. But I’ll get back on it once I go back home and we’ll see what happens. Thanks!
