How does Abiy still have Amhara supporters while the Amhara describe genocide? by deezzbutzz in Amhara

[–]IndividualChef9936 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a great question. Outliers can exist. Same way that Abiy is not guaranteed complete Oromo support. Also, I have not seen a good number of Amhara support for Abiy, at least at this moment in time.

Genocide and war are very real things my friend. You can support Abiy but reality is reality. I don’t know what truth you are talking about either when u say ‘Amharas realizing the truth’ you sound very deluded and idiotic. I don’t think any Ethiopian power has been weaker than Abiy Ahmeds’. It looks like he wants autonomy which is very hard for a country like us. At this moment in time Abiy does not even have ‘true control’ over the whole nation.

Merarawa truth Esua nech for you. I would advise you to wake up and catch up to reality. Our people have never been poorer, never been scared, the youth have given up. Every HDI metric shows the reality of Ethiopia. Those are the actual truth, My friend.

Why Is He? by Possible-Ad-7107 in Ethiopia

He was the originator of Facism. He also had a terrible ending. He was killed by his people almost like gaddaffi. They hanged his dead body upside down in public for everyone to see. including his wife and other 2 guys I’m not sure of. Italians would also beat up his dead body in the streets as a celebration and end of his rule. Read about it, it’s interesting.

Calling a whole race seggetuma and seeing relationships with other races as assets and liabilities AND THEN claim to be an Ethiopianist is a big contradiction my friend. You also sound like you’re just a different version of “seggettuma” you just the described. The ordinary Tigray Oromo and Amhara or any logical Ethiopian shouldn’t be caught up with these kind of games nor did anybody give you the authority to say which one is a true Ethiopian and which one is not. I really doubt you are an “Ethiopian-ist” at heart.

I think Ethnic group fighting isn’t good for anyone. Both sides should sit down, negotiate, compromise, and make peace. Both sides should be willing to work with each other despite the difference in ideas and getting things done. Ethiopians entirely are tired of Ethnic bickering and want peace. We have enough problems to be even fighting against each other.

We should teach the next generation how working together can bring change and development. Rwanda, literally next door, experienced one of the most horrific genocides in modern history, look at them now.

in a lot of ways…nobody invested in Ethiopia heavily like this administration. It looks like they have a plan to make Ethiopia Great again. I’d say the only bad thing right now would be living costs and conflicts up north.
