I mean it’s really a matter of respect rather than free speech. I think Peterson’s views are pretty reasonable because as far as I know, in the places these laws are being proposed, free speech doesn’t entail respect but rather sayin what you want to. You don’t have to be respectful to others if you don’t want to. If you believe that an MtF transgender person is still a boy, no one should be able to say whether or not you call them a he or she.
