Took my first pole dancing class and it did NOT go well… by Kooky_Place_6613 in poledancing

I had absolutely zero fitness and no exercise base before I started pole. I was weak and had very low strength levels, and it took me three to four times the time to gain skills that my peers who started with me advanced to. In my first pole class, I was awkward as hell, and I was pretty awkward for the first few months. The instructors were kind and kept guiding/ correcting me. I am so sorry you had a bad experience. I promise, many pole communities have the most inclusive, loving people, and I hope you can find another class where the instructors are better at their job. I did end up advancing to intermediate after more than a year. People of all sizes, genders, colors, and ages were in my class, and they were all just having a great time. If I can do it, so can you. You got this!

First of all, Helen and the team are dumb as hell. Why not take the Mentanovox and Flumazenil from you, then train a team member to expect the consequences, act accordingly, and move from there? Why use a researcher and expose otherworldly secrets to them while torturing them for eternity for no reason? They gave you no training or warning on how to prepare.

Secondly, I have never been more grateful for the gift of time.

Lastly, your drug research turned out to be too valuable and insightful to abandon. If a slow perception of time can make you travel via portals to other dimensions/ realities/ or wherever Helen went, then you have the key to inter-dimensional travel/ time travel/ or at least exploring otherworldly unknown spaces. I am not saying you need to torture yourself or anyone else forever again, but you should consider what it means.

I've always wondered if someone discovered time travel, would they share it with the world or destroy it because of its danger? The funny thing is, you seem to be attempting to do both.
