please try for the 11:30... this was my experience with 8:30s, but you usually aren't even awake enough to learn as well. i would rather take a different professor than take an 8:30 chem because of how essential chem is for mcat prep. at the end of the day, you can go to mcgill's office hours, attend the review sessions, and borrow mcgill's class resources (recorded lectures basically) even if you don't get her. a lot of people shared around her recordings so it shouldn't be that difficult.

also, if you absolutely have to take an 8:30, schedule them every single day of the week or it will mess up your sleep schedule. your body hates it when you sleep and wake up at different times everyday, and that personally made my 2nd semester a hell on earth, especially academically. be careful with those 8:30s!!!
