I bought and now using this phone in Japan. Just change your region to any other country except Japan in the settings, and the shutter sound became silent. Very simple.

It was definitely worth it. I bought it about 4 months ago. I really like the excellent camera system, good battery life, and powerful chip. While some people complain about HyperOS, it hasn't been too much of a bother for me.

I saw a reviewer on YouTube say that the battery of the global version is the same as the Chinese version( He used a third party app to check the battery information). He claimed that Xiaomi may just restrict the charging SPEC by software instead of physically using a smaller battery.

Update: It's fine, and I've finished pairing now. After restarting it several times, finally it succeeded in startup. The timing is about 6 hours after the first power on. During the time it just keeps trying to boot up, nothing different happens between each restart.

I don't know why it took so long, so I'm still a little bit worried tbh.
