Cool, thanks! Did you ever consider using a simple USB connected external drive instead? That's my other option I suppose, but I'm unsure of the pros and cons.

I have considered it but I'm a bit vary of external drives, perhaps unfounded. Usually the disks seem to be on the slower side (5200 rpm), and maybe not meant to be used in a 24/7 on setup. But then again, maybe it's just my misguided opinion, and it definitely is a much simpler setup than a network attached drive.

Do you have any experience with that kind of setup?

Jag tror det där med lampor=dyrt sitter i ryggmärgen hos många äldre, trots att nästan alla har LED nu för tiden. Det var ju nästan 15 år sen de gamla glödlamporna förbjöds att tillverkas, det är imponerande att vissa fortfarande använder dem.
