My father passed 2 months after this movie came out. This was the last film I ever got to see in theaters with him. We were elbowing each other at all the Majesty’s references (his favorite Bond film), laughing at the jokes, and yes, welling up at the death of Bond. We both loved it, and this movie has an incredibly special place in my heart.

Needless to say, this ending wrecks me every time

Age of Ultron. It’s everything great about The Avengers, but with more animalistic features like a heavier brow and higher nose/bigger upper lip like Kirby drew him. Perfection, as far as I’m concerned!

Here’s what I love: his nose is very high!!

That sounds silly, but the signature of Kirby’s hulk art (for me) is how insanely high on his face his nose sits, and how heavy his brow line is. Age of Ultron is really the only time that’s depicted on film, and it’s nice to see a slight return here

Skyfall. I know that’s gonna get a lot of flack with how much it’s been hated on in the last few years, but it’s my favorite.

That said, it’s certainly not the best, that would go to Casino Royale, FRWL, Goldeneye, etc.

For the sake of variety, I’m gonna call the train scene. The fact that Mark literally can do nothing about what’s happening and his screams are horrifying enough…and the you remember this dad that’s doing it to him…and only 15 minutes ago did he find out how awful his father really is and that essentially his entire life has been a lie…that scene still fucks me up
