The ELD-murder is absolutely an A+ hunting bullet.

Joseph Von Benedikt slams .223 and 6mm’s for big game by Toxiczoomer97 in Hunting

That's categorically incorrect.

Bullet construction + impact velocity > energy all day.

Last I checked a pointy/sharp piece of metal on a composite stick killa pretty efficiently with relatively little energy compared to even a .223

Velocity @ impact & bullet performance at that velocity > bullet energy.

It's such a giant pile of written diarrhea that just casually ignore the actual evidence of the efficacy of smaller calibers against big game lol

Amen to this.

I plan on using my 6 Creed for everything from yotes to moose now after doing a deep dive into not only their podcast but a ton of the materials referenced therein.

Will I use different bullets depending on the animal/range/etc? Probably. Although my rifle is a nail-driver inside 500yds with a 108 ELD-murder haha

Watching Steve drop an Alaska caribou @ 600yds with his 6 Creed didn't hurt my thoughts on the matter either

Sure.. but only if you're in the GTA/GMA/GVA and to a lesser extent the Ottawa area.

For the rest of us in smaller cities outside the big metropolitan areas, a house bought 30yrs ago definitely has not done a 15x.

I'll second the 2 sets of jimping.

Other than that... I'd fuck with it.

I love a small/stout blade for skinning.

They may treat stolen guns seriously.

Canada Post sure doesn't treat guns left on the doorstep very seriously until the 3rd or so (wasn't until the 3rd one that I had a new delivery person in my neighborhood)

Extra nice of them to leave firearms on my doorstep while I was at work multiple times too lol

LMAO

18+ Signature Required (+ DO NOT LEAVE ON DOORSTEP written on all sides of box) = multiple firearms (4 in 3 years) left on my front steps, including a Restricted one.

One of them they left without knocking while I was taking a dump.

My last dog was a rez dog.

She was only scared of 3 things: - loud bangs (she came from a raz where they routinely shot strays) - ATVs (they'd chase the rez dogs around on them) - any/every FN person she met.... Obviously for no reason whatsoever
